I just noticed something and I’m wondering if it’s just me.
The R-60 missile and the Kh-29T look kinda similar. Like, both just look like long tubes with fins they almost feel like they could be related. Like the R-60 is the little brother while the Kh-29T is the big bro (like a fatter R-60 kinda).
Is there actually a design connection between them, or is it just coincidence because of how Soviet missiles were built?
I know one is air to air and the other is air to ground, so they do totally different jobs. Just thought it was a funny similarity I noticed and wanted to ask if anyone knows more about it.
