Questions regarding the expenditure of GE

Hey guys,

So I had a few questions:

  1. When are the next in-game sales? I’m looking at buying a few things like talismans and maybe a few low-tier vehicles for my next nation (Sweden and/or Germany).

  2. What is the better plane to talisman? The F-15C MSIP II or the F-16ADF? The ADF looks like a good option because of its 13.3 Fox-3s on an F-16 platform and the fact that it won’t get uptiered to 14.7. The BVR performance and extra missiles on the Eagle for 0.3 increase in BR also looks good. Plus, the various bombs should add some versatility (I’m not talking about CAS, haha). Which is in a better spot right now?

  3. Is the Pz.Bef.Wg.IV J a good German prem? Or should I go for KW II 754? And is the Sd.Kfz.234/2 “Biene” worth getting or is the tt model sufficient?

Thanks for any replies and feel free to answer just a single question; I asked quite a few lol.

  1. Likely around VE-day. But they have not always been on for all nations, sometimes only for the victors.

VERY important note about talismans:

While they do increase your RP gains by 100% (NOT double, RP %'s are additive, NOT a multiplier) they do NOT allow you to research at maximum efficiency down to rank 1. Only premium vehicles have that ability. So, unless you already have a specific tech tree researched down to ONE rank below the vehicle you are thinking about putting a talisman on you will lose a tremendous amount of RP’s.

If you are trying to grind out a fairly new tech tree you are MUCH better off buying a premium versus putting a talisman on a tech tree or squadron vehicle.

Furthermore, premium vehicles get a 2.0x MULTIPLIER to SL gains. Again, only premium vehicles get this bonus. A talisman does not increase SL gains.

If you don’t have Premium Account time, that would be a much better use of your money versus a talisman imo. You get bonuses to RP’s and SL’s with any vehicle you use with Premium Time, including Premium Vehicles.

There is no greater boost to RP’s and SL’s having Premium Account + Premium Vehicles.

AND Premium Vehicles DOUBLE the effect of SL boosters. Because that 2.0x SL boost doubles ANY SL effect including the Premium Account SL boost.

They do double the effect of premium. You can simply check the numbers in your debriefings.

I know about the evidence of the effect lol. But “by the math” RP gains are still additive, not multiplicative like the Premium Vehicle 2.0x SL boost.

The effective difference comes into play if you use boosters. They are affected differently. Talismans work just fine to double the RP income of the vehicle under premium.

Regardless, it still does not negate the effect of Research Efficiency. Most people looking at talismans versus Premium Vehicles do not have the tech tree mostly researched. It is a losing proposition to put a talisman on a high rank vehicle (especially a squadron vehicle) if the tech tree still has lots of lower rank vehicles to unlock.
