I haven’t played this game since ~February after I was just done with always being up tiered to 6.7 with 6.0 tanks. But recently, I joined back into the game and noticed far less up tiers, at most I’m being up tiered to 6.3, and I’ve only seen 1 tiger II since playing again.
So main question, have they changed how up tiering works or is this just the snail taking pity on me for the first week?

What is the best way to get tech? Still pretty annoying to get, although I am somehow killing 4 people from time to time. Yay me.
For an American player, what should I research now?My progress will be shown at the bottom of the topic.
Any new mechanics I should know of? I know things such as sight distance control and distance measuring thingy, but things after Storm warning,
Should I work on my planes tech? Not the best player but still, could be important.
When should I worry about money? Money doesn’t grow on trees, though I don’t know, I might be good at some of the 15 wagers I still have.
Some BR changes here and there but to my knowledge no change to the matchmaker itself.
Tho it might be affected by your timezone and time you play at.
As in RP? Getting either premium account, premium vehicle or both.
If thats not option, getting more familiar with game and playing better is the only solution.
Id advise to go for 6.3/6.7 lineup and spade it.
Notably T34, T26E5, Super pershing, M56, bulldog are all great tanks, and spading them should gice you both neccesary RP and experience youre going to need moving forward.
Not really, tho as you progress you might start to encounter some mechanics that are in the game for a long time, namely full stabilizers, HEAT-FS etc.
For CAS/CAP option for GRB, definetively.
Around 8.0 and higher when expert crews start getting expensive, but there are few ways to aave up SL.
Namely properly play your lineups and spade vehicles before moving onto new ones, use the kill wagers (fun fact, there are multipliers for different modes. 5 kill wager requires only 3 kills in GRB, 10 kill wager requires 5 etc.).
It sometimes just depends on who is playing what, like if you are playing 12.7 and getting lots of up tiers, then there is a sale on the F-4S and suddenly you get lots of down tiers due to all of those 12.0s being spammed out. or the opposite, you are doing ok at 11.7 then the new premium F/A-18 drops and now you are at 12.7 every game.
Or a recent example the Raf, Su-30 and EFs moved up to 14.3, now I’m seeing way more F-15E/I’s at 13.0/ 13.3.
