I am submitting a bug report and wanted to confirm whether the game uses the gross or net horsepower in game and a few other questions that I couldn’t find answers to:
Is engine horsepower used for game balancing reasons? Such as giving a tank its gross horsepower (Usually higher than net horsepower) if it needs it for balance.
How many sources do I have to give? Is one book enough? Can I add two bugs or more in one report like incorrect weight, horsepower and name? (if all apply)
How is turret rotation speed selected? if a source says lets say 20° per second of rotation does that mean that tank is given 20°/s with ace crew?
If a tank has incorrect stats for its current name and changing the name to another variant would align with its current stats then is that reportable? In which case should I report that changes be made to make it accurate according to its current name or report that name be changed instead or both?
Hi,
No. For balancing purposes we use choose stats like reload speed and ammunition choice.
I will copy-paste the information from the Community Bug reporting site:
OEM Manuals (primary source):
User manuals, repair manuals, factory manuals, operating manuals, technical manuals etc. Single source is required (preferred source)
.
Authored works (secondary source):
Reference books on collections of vehicles/aircraft/ships (‘coffee table books’), biographies, specialist books, “expert” opinion publications, industry magazines etc. At least two unrelated sources required.
Please don’t do that. Our workflow is: 1 bug/change = 1 report.
However if the same problem exists on multiple vehicles, those can be added into a bug report.
Maximum rotation speed is given with turret speed upgrade (In game: horizontal drive) + aced crew.
In case when you check a vehicle without the upgrade installed, the rotation speed for aced crew shown in the stat card will be slower.
Please report changes to be done to make it accurate to it’s current name.
I also suggest to contact a Technical Moderator or a Senior Technical Moderator with questions like this, as those are very specific to us. We don’t bite after we had our morning coffee :)
