QN506 needs ammo box mechanic

Ever since they added the ammo box mechanic and removed auto reloads on missiles this thing has gone from pretty trash to completely unusable. Its main weapon are the missiles which have no reloads and imo should be treated as a atgm carrier with a gun rather than a proper ifv

i think having 8 IR tandem missiles + 40 ATGMs is maybe just a tad bit much

also, how is it bad exactly? unmanned turret with a high frame allowing it to easily peek over cover without endangering the crew seems pretty solid, especially with how empty the turret is and i belive there’s armor between the ammo and crew incase of an ammo detonation

Once you take a hit to the turret you basically lose all your ammo. Leaving you with just the 7mm. The ammo box would be a nice feature.
Peaking over hills basically never happens a max depression angle of -5 on a really up high turret means if you want to peak over a hill you’ve got to expose the whole tank.

Seen this thing in my type90. It was so funny when I was shooting it every time his ammo burnout stopped - only for it to start anew.

does the autocannon ammo being detonated affect the missiles?

its only 4 IR missiles with no reloads that are super unreliable cos they target some random spot and even if you volley fire all 4 at one person they probably wont kill. and the 20 mini missiles can only be guided one at a time, have like 200mm pen with no reloads either. if tanks like m26 t99 or magach hydra can get ammo boxes to replenish their rockets i dont see why qn506 still has to suffer this hard

Welcome to the world of playing the namer, they definitely at least need an ammo box that refills the cannon.

there is no debate to be had the QN506 is a light tank and the light ones (all the light ones!!) no simply no ammunition box end of the debate

its time LT’s especially in arcade get their ammo boxes when mediums with secondary rockets have them already

gaijin did anything the principle of ammunition crates is that only support tanks have them, giving ammunition crates to a tank just because it has a rocket pod is breaking the logic and the principle of crates so much to give them to everyone then but that does not change that the QN506 and other tanks with guided missiles will not have crates because they are guided missiles and lots of MBT in the game fire missiles, the supports are of little use in combat but they have the advantage of reloading the other members of the team with the crates which creates a cooperative team game if everyone had a crate people would play more individually which for me goes against the principle of the ammunition crate for me they should be removed from the calliope and the RBT5 I don’t want the top tier to turn into a tennis game with spikes and qn502ccd

yeah there’s for sure some bug with how QN506’s ammo goes up, virtually no other ground vehicle has this behavior.

I will give it credit where its due because its incredibly survivable and even when that happens the crew ends up surviving… but the number of times i end up loading 100% of ammo/rockets/missiles, its OFTEN.

So having to limp back to base to get ammo is rough, very least I’d like to see more team play callouts instead of just text chat callouts for these type of things. In SQB’s or something its one thing but normal ground RB, trying to ask anyone for anything is virtually impossible.

I am not gonna get someone to drop ammo for me.
