Decemeber at the earliest. Alongside all other Gen 5 IRs ( ASRAAM, IRIS-T, P-5, etc etc)

Next Gen IRs will come with 5th gen planes (I believe the devs confirm this)… I doub (hope) it won’t be before December 2026.

Imo, the biggest imbalance at top tier is the difference between those with HOBS (R-73 and Magic II) and those without (Aim-9M, AAM-3, etc).
I think its the next logical step for all aircraft. Not a lot else can be done for multiple airframes now and the next gen of ARH really need bigger maps
