PzH2000

So the PzH2000 in rlf has thermals,semi-autoloader and a 6 secound reload.
Why did gajin didn t make it like real life isnt wt ‘‘suppose’’ to be realistic?

I have the same question as well, particularly regarding the rate of fire of PzH 2000.

Every article and source that you find about the PzH 2000 talks about the impressive 6 second rate of fire of this beast, due to its autoloader, yet in the game we don’t even have a mechanized ammo rack.

The only manual part of the loading process is the propellant charge that is put inside the breech manually by the loader, but somehow that justifies a 13 second reload in the game, which is 1000000% unrealistic.

Meanwhile we have the PLZ05 which has full spall liner protection, 7.5 second reload. .50 cal, decent variety of ammunition with great explosive mass, at the same BR as the gigantic PzH 2000.

To say that the PzH 2000 turned out to be a great disappointment is a major understatement.

so far its terrible. Stock its practically a m109 just at 7.7.

i hope once i unlock the last shell its gonna be better…

402 rounds in 4 minutes at 18 PzHs is… 5.5 rounds per minute

Gaijin can always provide a “ready” rack for an autoloader to drop the reload of the PzH 2000 to 6s for the first 7 rounds and then increase the reload time to 10s.

The fact that we have the Vidar at 0.3 BR above the PzH with 3rd Gen Thermals, LRF and good mobility just highlights how little thought Gaijin spends on the topic.

This was a highly anticipated vehicle and the way they implemented and balanced it is absolutely and utterly careless.

This is now, after the Luchs, the 2nd German vehicle that they gutted and one must wonder if this is on purpose.

that ones wrong , it does not have thermals

everything else how they implemented it, is an atrocity

they really didnt implemented its autoloader? lol, meanwhile other artillery vehicles with autoloader goes boom boom

why do you think that an artillery peace will have thermals or lazer range finder

did you forget about the VIDAR?

I took a look at the armor layout, can the top composite screens stop bullets by CAP/CAS?

TBH the big advantage I think is the semi AP, spall liner in down tier does nothing, uptier might do something, but at that point, both tanks are useless. PZH2K does have 50km/h reverse, and slight advantage in traverse but this 13 second reload is still goofy I agree. Maybe we can prove to Gaijin it is shit. I am grinding both anyhow so…

It only had thermals because they straight up copied the vidars modules and ammo

the more rounds are fired, the longer the reload gets. the autoloader needs to collect the rounds further and further away from the turret, which increases the reload. 3 rounds in first 10 sec, video’s from Rheinmetal on youtube show 20 rounds under 2 min with 48v power-supply:

Vuursnelheid pzh2000 autoload

but these are under testing conditions, think video says trail area Meppen. doors to charges remain open, not sure if this is done under combat conditions?

In realistic scenario they would shoot and scoot before rounds impacted or very near that time to avoid counter battery fire.

The reload alone is nonsensical and bad enough, but can someone explain me why tf the PzH, where part of the entire REASON for its existence was to introduce a longer gun than on the M109A3 to achieve higher muzzle-velocitys and thus longer ranges, is firing american WW2 HE-shells with velocity thats WORSE than on the oldest version of the M109 with a barrel less than half the calibre-length?

As far as Im aware the Bundeswehr does in fact not deploy powdercharges from 1942.

What is this then?

definetly not day night vision and definetly not a Laser-Range finder

also on a different note the Shells damage is way to low this is what the PzH200 does to tanks

the sheer velocity of its Shell rips them Apart it doesnt even matter what you load into it on a direct hit with the highest load it just rips Tanks apart

Because it does?
The PzH explicitely has a direct-fire sight if necessary and a LRF, you can check that in every brochure.

It just doesnt have Thermals for the Gunner

though according do KNDS for the commander

Doesnt say that, can mean night vision for commander as well
