PzH 2000 A1 - 60 round Gunslinger

similar, except it’s full auto. K9 uses a mechanical arm to load the ammo to the autoloader too.

As someone who worked for an short time on the PzH 2000, I exspect the worst from gaijin

Bit different, K9 is similar to semi-automatic.
as you can see on 6:00, K9’s loader should carry shell from back of turret to mechanical arm by manually.
but PzH 2000’s shell transfer is fully automatic.
therefore PzH 2000 should have 60 ready-to use round.

but it need few action, also, PZH need fully manual loading the propellant. I’d say K9 is more auto, though both of them can be modeled as full auto in game. What I checked is K9A2, which is full auto.
The K9A2 with fully automatic ammo loader
the ready ammo is also 3 for PZH I think, these are 1 loaded, 1 waits on the autoloader, and 1 wait in mechanical arm.
after the 3 shoots, still auto, but fire rate reduced

Our topic is focused on K9~K9A1, not K9A2 which not in service yet.
I think VIDAR’s 3 ready munition is reasonable.

Currently all SPGs which in game is same on hand loaded propellant. then fully automated shell transfer can have difference then others.

So I still support PzH 2000’s 60 ready munition.

Or they can make it like as Chally 2. they have 3 ammo which 5 sec reload, next 4~ rounds have 6.5 sec.
PzH 2000’s munition after 3rd fire shold have faster reload rate then other SPGs.

I mean this, and Vidar is similar in game.
Though I don’t agree this part. The loading process is too complex, it will take longer time for sure, won’t be faster than things like 2S19/PLZ05.

I see, the process works together, ammo passed from one to another like a chain

Yep, it goes all hand in hand
Also we can see the Autoloader,
So we have 1 loaded and 1 in the autoloader aka ready rack = 1

so, why it will slow down. first 3 shoots are faster

Because IRL firerate is nice, but all the tech gets more (stressed) so you have to replace it after an short time of use, that would be the only reason for it

that’s why I don’t like complicated structure, they are too fragile

Is not mechanically complex really, pretty simple system just with lots of movement around the tank it’s more similar to a carousel autoloader than anything

Shouldn’t all those other 155mm shells used by SPGs in game have the ability to use VT fuze? From the start it’s been odd how only M107 has it. Then again I don’t think the fragmentation area is modeled into any accuracy. All there seems to be in game is amount of HE filler.

Probably, but gaijin hates NATO spg’s
