the Python-4 does not have datalink and also does not have LOAL it just have a Half Sphere technology (a high gimbal limit in simple terms) that makes the seeker see literally at 90 degrees to the left or right 180 degrees in total.

technically not python 4, but does anyone know a list of all the planes that are integrated with the derby missile? On the derby website, it says that it’s meant for easy integration for the following fighter aircraft, but I’m not sure if that means its already been integrated into those aircraft or it’s yet to be integrated.
iirc, all of them either mounted or were displayed with Derby. Idk about the FA-50 tho

No bc they pretty much only exported it

What if we get the python 4 highly nerfed so it performs like a R-73? And we get it fixed later with the new missiles in the future?

i really think Python 4 with irccm like r73 or aim9m could be added with easy to the game and not be much of a difference we already have r27et with insane range and aim9m hard to flare from top attack and r73 tvc close range so a Python 4 with 60% of r27et range wouldn’t be that broken specially if it got r73 type irccm
60% is a stretch
P4 max range is 15 km
According to smin gaijin doesnt nerf things they allready know are stronger irl so they wont nerf p4 irccm
once they’ll add it python 5 (for aircrafts) will already be in the game
