Their flare resistance is identical. Your anecdotes are worthless when we know the exact values.
And in fact, the greater average speed of the Python-3 gives it greater practical flare resistance as it will close the distance to target faster.

It does seem that way though, I haven’t worked out quite why. I think it’s because it turns better that it seem to turn away at last moment and 9L sort of ‘fails’ to do this, like it still turns but the velocity isn’t enough to move it out of the way.
Python 3 has that big problem, said by the Gaijin themselves, P3 has no resistance to countermeasures.

if you get a rear aspect shot no flare is saving you from that 27et
yes thus why i said tail chase excluded.
i think this update they should add the python 4 to isreal now since it would give them a new air- air missiles to be able to use it and there is already aircraft that can use it and it would not be to op tho too

That would be great, but in the modern missiles thread, someone told me that the one that is going to be updated for Israel these days will be the Python 5, I don’t know if I believe that, but I think the IRIS-T and the AIM 9X are confirmed, so the P5 won’t be bad.

latest datamines shows that Baz Meshupar lost DL channels, TWS, HMD and NCTR this is wonderfull time to give Python-4s to it, we lose something significant we should gain something significant to replace what we lost.

Radar hmd mode was removed so now it only has hms

Radar HMD is getting removed but the HMS for IR missile it would still be there.

yes we lose all what i mentioned except the HMS for IR missiles very criminal if you ask me specially if they are not going to add the Python-4 as a compensation for example.
Yeah true. Although 13.3 would be too good for it, so I am guessing something at least will be added.
even if python 4 are added for it i cant survive 13.7, it needs to be 13.3
