Pvlvv m/42 Lacks a "Mine chell"

The Pvlvv fm/42 lacks the 20mm “HCHE-I-T” or “slbrandsgr m/51” round For its Akan m/40B

Slbrandsgr m/51 is a high capacity High Explosive incendiary Tracer or just a “Mine chell” to be more effective against aircraft.

Oh, very fascinating! It looks like they have it under consideration, so I’m hoping they add it soon, I’d love to check it out!

Shure, but, i wouldnt call a little bit more that 13g of filler for a 20mm round a HC round, when for example the 2 cm Flak 2 cm MX.Geschoss has almost double that. At 25g.

Right.

US and British Hispano HEFI shells contained 11.3g explosive incendiary mixture.

13.4g could indicate a higher content of incendiary material or some denser metal.

Like the German WW2 HEFI or HEFI-T, which contained 18-20g explosive filler, using zinc as incendiary element.

145g is far too heavy to be a Mineshell.

It is considdered a High-Capacity Incendiary Explosive by bofors standards, The LvAkan m/40B did fire relatively light rounds in general. But they needed a more effective HE-I-T round so they made the slbrandsgr m/51 that was more powerful than the normal HEI-T

Got some unfortunate news. The filler listed here also includes the incendiary mixture. The entire filler is called “Brandsprängsats nr 8” (Incendiary explosive mix #8), and only contains ~2.6 grams of PETN, the rest being the aforementioned incendiary mixture (~10.8 grams).

As expected.

But currently there’s no difference between a 20mm with 10g or even just 2.6g explosive filler anyway.

Apart from the fact that Gaijin ignores incendiary filler as source of damage, unfortunately.

Which is a real shame.
