The other day I was f’d up my shots so it took me like 4-5 m829a1 to kill an angled and immobilized PUMA, I’ll find the hit analysis and then post here because I remember some shots hits the fuel tank and basically get absorbed. If that’s the type of PUMA we are getting (silent buff) then hell yeah I’m getting the pallets
I think if anything the vehicle can do is just sit back and tickle enemy then this vehicle is trash. Tam2c, radkampfwagen90, leo2k and leo2av can also camp. They are better at this job thanks to their cannons. And they can do anything that puma cant do.
Yes, the only thing they lost is their turret lacks the wolverine health regeneration factor. They risk their crews every time they engage the enemies, Leopard 2k will take two hits then can’t take another one, but in the same position the PUMA will take infinite amount hits to the turret and still result in 0 crew loss and say: I can do this all day (in captain America voice). All you had to do is disable the enemies then let your teammates with greater fire power finish them, and the good thing is the game also reward kill assists quite handsomely. Similar like how the AGS went from 9.7 to 12.0 and still fire the same ammunition because people figured out how to play it, it’s better than PUMA because the turret doesn’t cook.
TAM 2C like any TAMs, one penetrating hit to the turret often result in KO’d because of the ammo stores in the turret.
Yes but it pays off with ability to actually kill enemies instead of tickling them until your teammates decide to kick in.
S25o, s8ko, s13of, kh29t, kab500kr, agm62a, agm65, gbu8, 3of26. Those can erase that confidence once you bring enough attention. Oh and las guided munitions as well. Sure, puma got lws. But pilot can just turn laser designator on/off without sending missile/bomb and bait out your smoke grenades.
Puma isnt even close to ags. It got insane hpt ratio, 5s autoloader and m68 cannon which pops enemy tanks just fine without having to rely on your teammates.
As I said before, at least tam can do the job on its own without praying for teammate help. Makes it inf times better than puma.
