Suggestion:
I propose the addition of a Puerto Rico flag decal for vehicles in War Thunder. The A-7K Corsair II already features the Puerto Rico flag on its tail in-game. This decal would allow players to display the Puerto Rico flag on their own vehicles, especially aircraft, to honor the historical significance and the pride of Puerto Rican heritage.
Reasoning:
This decal would honor Puerto Rico’s contributions to global history, including its role in the military, especially during World War II, when Puerto Rican soldiers fought in all major conflicts as part of the U.S. Armed Forces since World war I. Adding this decal would not only bring greater representation but also allow players from Puerto Rico and fans of its rich heritage to express pride in their identity in-game.
I mentioned this to the community manager while on a twitch stream and I was told it was submitted to staff for review so hopefully we will get some representation in game.
Warthunder’s ingame flags only cover nations. Puerto Rico is not an independent nation, so the only way we could realistically get a Puerto Rican flag is if it’s some sort of special Puerto Rico holiday decal that happens to feature a Puerto Rican flag, e.g an independence day flag.
