It’s 8.3 because it’s APHE and no thermals.
Begleitpanzer has the same mobility, thermals, and a TOW launcher.
VCC 80/60 has APFSDS and thermals.

I rarely see them anymore because there are better tanks for Soviets at 8.3 and 8.7 such as Object 685 and T-55A.

Fair thinking, poorly presented, there are a lot of other vehicles that also needs some attention.

Begleitpanzer 57 is far faster than the PT-76E, which retains same mobility from the PT-76 older series, in my point of view, the only thing that retain PT-76E at battle rating 8.3 is the armor and ammo velocity.

PT-76-57 has a stronger shell (137mm of BP57 vs. 151mm of PT)

Okay so 4000lb bomb landing on it’s forehead doesn’t kill it yeh that’s ez to kill.

155mm HE from M109 right on the cupola didn’t kill it I-TOW to the hull sideon no.
The only way I killed one was with the XM246 in the cupola and M1 butt shot.

i never killed an Object 279, but one time i faced one and it didn’t kill me, and i almost kill him but i got an assist.
just use APDS or HEAT-FS in the driver’s port or in the MG port in the turret

u can even overpressure it

M109 don’t have HESH
