I would like to ask if a PS5 Pro version of War Thunder is planned, similar to what we got between the PS4 and PS4 Pro. The PS5 Pro is being released on November 7th (3 days before my birthday 🥳), and I’ve already preordered it. Just hoping my wife doesn’t see the bill! However, we haven’t seen any communication regarding this matter yet.

I (almost) only play on PS system …i was never aware that there were “pro” versions…always assumed the pro consoles simply worked slightly better with the same version.
I did notice a change when upgraded from PS4 to PS5…but nothing ground breaking…
TBH…i never had a PRO PS…only the standard PS4 and PS5…
Maybe it was the fact we can download 4k textures pack on the PS4 pro (we can’t on standard PS4 right?) that make me think there was a specific upgrade?

Yes, you can. On PS4 Pro, the game supports 4K, as well as hi-res shadows and lighting (HDR).
So it will look better at least :)
TBH…i played a lot on PS5…but for practical reasons (my kid took the PS5) went back to PS4…for me personally not a huge difference. My major gripe is that for some reason controls feel different…probably configurations are also different…
Control are platform specific; the tuning you made on PS4/pro aren’t transfered to PS5 and you’ll can’t transfer them even with USB (I tried) ki
The game runs at a higher resolution on ps5 and allows you to download and install 4k texture packs which aren’t available on ps4 pro. The ps5 version also runs at a much higher frame rate.

You’re confusing the game resolution and hires textures. Both PS4pro and PS5 run in 4K resolution (albeit the latter one in 60 fps instead of 30). But only on PS5 you can download additional hires textures.
