A tank is resisting you and you can’t break through? Do you find that your Tiger 1 is a sieve against certain tanks?
Here’s a pictorial guide to using protection analysis, so you can test your armour or shells without risk to your Lions and against all the targets in the game, whether you have it or not.

!!! WARNING !!! The following tutorial is based on tanks but works the same way for planes, helicopters and ships.
-1) To begin, here’s where to start the protection analysis: simply… select the vehicle to be analysed in the hangar:
-You don’t have the vehicle you want to test? Don’t panic, here’s what you need to do:
-2) Once your target has been defined, you need to select the tank that will fire on your target and you can analyse the effectiveness of the protection:

You can also type the beginning of the name of the shooter’s vehicle to find it more quickly:
-3) Lastly, let’s look at the effects of ammunition on armour and, more importantly, in the tank:
And that’s it. You now know where to go to find out whether your vehicle is protected or not against its opponents and whether you’ll be able to damage a Sherman with your little 37mm gun. Don’t hesitate to use this in-game tool (unlike the competition, where you have to go elsewhere).
