Thank you for the quick reply. To help us focus our input, could you clarify what type of suggestions would be most useful for you to collect at this stage, other than the ones I’ve outlined in the post you replied to?
Additionally, would it be possible to arrange a short call with you at some point (between yourself and the AVR leadership)? We believe a direct conversation—similar to an in-person meeting—would be a great way to share ideas more efficiently and get to know each other better.
We appreciate your time and the opportunity to contribute constructively to the SQB discussion.

As a member of IRAN squadron i tottaly agree that sqb rewards need to be better and higher at least so more player encouraged to join SQB battles
A more neutral place like the Squadron Battle Leaders discord would be a better place to have this conversation.
A few commanders have DM me saying that if devs start going into specific squadrons discords then it would alienate/exile others from having their voices hear, which is the hole point of this forum post. Its one team, one fight.
Stona, if you would like an invite to the commanders discord I am more then willing to send it to you or any other members of your team.

what does the timeline look like for implementation of squadron logos, decals for seasons and a squadron recruitment page? What should us squadron leaders do to help you with this?
I agree the RO6 one ran by Grog has been used as a phone book for all the squadrons. This would be a fantastic place for this to be discussed with @Stona_WT as there are only the commanders of squadrons who play squadron battles in there.
I would disagree with the idea of lost profit here. Sim battles have high SL and RP and majority of players are not grinding sim but it has brought players over to try it out during events etc.
Squadron realistic needs this too. A higher SL and RP modifier to bring rewards in line with the rest of the game.
The ability to earn score for ongoing event’s as to not pushing players for choosing to play SRE and keep that game mode alive over playing public games.
These two things should be simple, fair and reasonable.
The idea of having a way to earn/unlock more Squadron research would be a nice addition since these vehicles are linked to being in a squadron anyways it would be a logical progression to encourage squadrons to play squadron battles to earn those tanks and planes faster.

It’s honestly surprising how disconnected the current approach to SQB rewards feels from the actual player experience, and how disconnected the devs are with the game and SQB in general.
“Meeting the needs of players” doesn’t really line up with what many of us are saying, otherwise there wouldn’t be so much consistent feedback about this.
“Well balanced with the effort required” also doesn’t seem accurate when you consider how much time SQB actually demands. Top 1 requires easily hundreds of hours of effort per season.
Getting first place, or even top 10, in squadron battles usually means all 128 players in a squadron are putting in tens of hours per week, every week, for two straight months to secure a good placement. I understand Gaijin not wanting to add more GE or direct monetary rewards, but right now even the decals you get aren’t permanent — you lose them the following season. For the effort required, that feels pretty underwhelming. At the very least, more meaningful and lasting cosmetics would make the time investment feel worthwhile.
Meanwhile, TSS offers a wide range of decals, titles, and other rewards, even though some of those seasonal tournaments take significantly less time and commitment than getting 1st place in an SQB season.
It doesn’t seem like it would be very difficult to improve this: make the decals and clan borders for 1st/2nd/3rd/etc. place permanent, and add a corresponding player title for each one. Changes like that would go a long way toward making SQB feel properly rewarded for the level of effort it requires.
The bottom line is that SQB requires more effort, more players, more teamwork, and more group coordination than every single other mode in the entire yet, yet it has by far the worst rewards and incentives despite being part of War Thunder eSports.
Devs dont play there own game, that “interview” is the clear proof of it. Since they know better what we the players want why would they care about any recognition of sqb players? Just keep pumping out more prems and cancer clones to keep 1 death prems happy to contionue ruining the battles especially in top tier.
Здравствуйте, вижу что улитка не сильно понимает что такое “SQB”, думаю стоит объяснить это. SQB это режим, где сражаются 128 игроков одного полка против 128 игроков другого, причем таких полков очень много. 30000 GE на 128 игроков щедрая награда ? 128 человек играет днями и ночами, без поражений, чтобы набрать хотя бы 1900очков SQB, знаете каково это ? При попытке набрать 2100 очков поражение -30+ очков, а победа +0.9, это не 1 час, не 2, даже не 10, это дни игры в режим SQB.

he doesn’t understand how many and how good you should play to get top-places in sqb leaderboard. you have to spend more time than to grind any event coupon upgrade (which gives you ~3000GE average) daily for 2 moths and play with amazing >90-95% WR. And as a reward you get one auto tss tournament first place or even nothing (i left my previous squadron right after season end and got 0 GE because idk, got gaijined)
not a secret that all squadrons in top-10 leaderboard fighting not for in-game gaijin rewards but for additional rewards from their squadron leaders.
in conclusion: you play small pool of vehicles, not really research anything or farm alot of SL (only 8 kills per team), suffer because playing on top-tss level for hours every day and get 100-500GE as a reward.
Changes are very welcome to squadron battles but it will always be a horribly balanced game mode when there are certain squadrons that pay players to grind score for them, it’s not exactly a secret in the community. Unless Gaijin cracks down and enforces their own terms of service or these squadrons that shall remain unnamed simply decide to stop paying players out of a sense of fairness then I don’t see how any changes will improve the game mode.
