Thanks for patience guys and sorry for delay in the answer.
I have passed your ideas and suggestions and when/if I get any more info on it (and will be able to share it), I will give you some sign.
Please be aware that Snail is not the fastest creature, so it can take some time. If we will need any more details and or something else, I will post in this thread.
My post do not mean that we will implement your ideas (all/any), so please do not consider it as promise of upcoming changes.

It’s honestly surprising how disconnected the current approach to SQB rewards feels from the actual player experience, and how disconnected the devs are with the game and SQB in general.

“Meeting the needs of players” doesn’t really line up with what many of us are saying, otherwise there wouldn’t be so much consistent feedback about this.
“Well balanced with the effort required” also doesn’t seem accurate when you consider how much time SQB actually demands. Top 1 requires easily hundreds of hours of effort per season.

Getting first place, or even top 10, in squadron battles usually means all 128 players in a squadron are putting in tens of hours per week, every week, for two straight months to secure a good placement. I understand Gaijin not wanting to add more GE or direct monetary rewards, but right now even the decals you get aren’t permanent — you lose them the following season. For the effort required, that feels pretty underwhelming. At the very least, more meaningful and lasting cosmetics would make the time investment feel worthwhile.

Meanwhile, TSS offers a wide range of decals, titles, and other rewards, even though some of those seasonal tournaments take significantly less time and commitment than getting 1st place in an SQB season.

It doesn’t seem like it would be very difficult to improve this: make the decals and clan borders for 1st/2nd/3rd/etc. place permanent, and add a corresponding player title for each one. Changes like that would go a long way toward making SQB feel properly rewarded for the level of effort it requires.

The bottom line is that SQB requires more effort, more players, more teamwork, and more group coordination than every single other mode in the entire yet, yet it has by far the worst rewards and incentives despite being part of War Thunder eSports.

Devs dont play there own game, that “interview” is the clear proof of it. Since they know better what we the players want why would they care about any recognition of sqb players? Just keep pumping out more prems and cancer clones to keep 1 death prems happy to contionue ruining the battles especially in top tier.

Здравствуйте, вижу что улитка не сильно понимает что такое “SQB”, думаю стоит объяснить это. SQB это режим, где сражаются 128 игроков одного полка против 128 игроков другого, причем таких полков очень много. 30000 GE на 128 игроков щедрая награда ? 128 человек играет днями и ночами, без поражений, чтобы набрать хотя бы 1900очков SQB, знаете каково это ? При попытке набрать 2100 очков поражение -30+ очков, а победа +0.9, это не 1 час, не 2, даже не 10, это дни игры в режим SQB.

bvvd has no idea what sqb is
he doesn’t understand how many and how good you should play to get top-places in sqb leaderboard. you have to spend more time than to grind any event coupon upgrade (which gives you ~3000GE average) daily for 2 moths and play with amazing >90-95% WR. And as a reward you get one auto tss tournament first place or even nothing (i left my previous squadron right after season end and got 0 GE because idk, got gaijined)
not a secret that all squadrons in top-10 leaderboard fighting not for in-game gaijin rewards but for additional rewards from their squadron leaders.

in conclusion: you play small pool of vehicles, not really research anything or farm alot of SL (only 8 kills per team), suffer because playing on top-tss level for hours every day and get 100-500GE as a reward.

Changes are very welcome to squadron battles but it will always be a horribly balanced game mode when there are certain squadrons that pay players to grind score for them, it’s not exactly a secret in the community. Unless Gaijin cracks down and enforces their own terms of service or these squadrons that shall remain unnamed simply decide to stop paying players out of a sense of fairness then I don’t see how any changes will improve the game mode.

I just want some possible extra reward. It doesn’t have to be much, be it a decal, some extra silver lions, or really just add something more for squadron battles.

It’s honestly baffling that with all the time and dedication squads put into SQBs and there’s still almost no positives to SQB’s. We SQB players should at least get SOMETHING, and the fact that they said they would change NOTHING is absolutely preposterous. We should get something, SL, GE, decals, premium time, just SOMETHING to make it worth while.

1. Allow players to earn more experience for SQ tech

  • Provide players with the opportunity to gain increased experience when using or upgrading SQ tech.

2. Add the option to participate in both events and battle passes

  • Allow participation in both events and battle passes at the same time,
    or
  • Add a separate battle pass specifically for SqB.

3. Additional rewards for top 10 and top 3 Sq

  • Enable each team that finishes in the top 10 at the end of the season to apply for their own personal decal.
    • The decal remains active throughout the current season.
    • If the team remains in the top 10 in subsequent seasons, the decal stays active.
  • Add the option for personal skins for the top 3 Sq.
    • Submission would use the same system as decals.

4. Rework the point deduction mechanics in SqB

  • Revise the mechanics of point loss during battles, as points can currently drop too quickly in situations such as:
    • When only one allied aircraft remains with no ground units, and the enemy still has ground units — causing a rapid loss of points.
    • When landing at an airfield for reloading, the game treats it as leaving the battle, resulting in immediate point drain.
  • This prevents teams from even attempting a comeback, so the system needs to be adjusted to reflect real battle conditions more fairly.

I honestly feel like SQB should also have the chance to gain points on event vehicles, like the R400 right now.
