IS-6 isn’t as potent as it once was, but that’s why I said 7.3 as it will still see HE slingers and many things than can counter it.
But being the same br as the maus is a bit silly.
A lot of these are to spread the brs a little for foldered tanks to fill in gaps
But the conquerer can eat ATGMs from 8.7 and above especially after its armor upgrade, it also sports a hefty 120. It can also eat a lot of Heat and APDS rounds. Its weakness is the lower hull, but (as with any tank) played right, it’s a much bigger threat.
Short and small diameter APFSDS needs another look at in my opinion, but overall yeah the AUBL 74 HVG could receive a better reload to fix that, it seems a little long for that caliber.
As I brought up in the forum for it, the ammo is right between the commander and gunner, and is a light 60mm shell vs say the 120mm on the abrams… yet it has a slower load time? For half the shell size, and it being more readily accessible? (Talking first stage ammo tbh)
I’m sure the turret ring will be a kill shot too, even if it doesn’t show it. My point being is there is plenty to counter it. And due to its cons, being 7.7 is a bit much.
yet no mention of the superior XM800T, we have discussed these vehicles before so I’m not going to beat the dead horse other than those vehicles should not be the same BR.
I agree with a lot of this list to help with how bad the compression at mid tier is other than the U-SH and Tigers going down, both are very strong vehicles the tiger just suffers from worse players. Conqueror sucks because of shell shatter and its mantlet is hollow when it should be solid. The fox is only good because players how to play like bastards to do anything, its also having major shell-shattering problems as of late when the RARDEN 30mm shouldn’t be having that issue at all its a modern shell.
Would like to also recommend having no radar SPAA below 8.7 as we are still seeing WW2 planes and it is just genuinely unfair matchmaking for them
You know my opinion on the fox. And stock I was able to get really easy nukes, can’t say the same for the xm800, yet both are annoying in their own right to fight.
As for the tigers, I’m merely talking about the Italian one and Japanese one. The latter being a stock Tiger H1 at 6.0, which is odd as it’s the only 6.0 Japan has. But both hail in comparison to that new two fronts pack where there are better tigers at 5.7 vs the worse tigers at 6.0, it doesn’t make any sense no matter how it’s sliced.
I will never not be surprised about this as they are for most gameplay functionally the same, the XM800 is just far quieter so more stealthy, sometimes a vehicle doesn’t quite hit the right notes with a player.
I don’t think the tigers should be below 6.0, of course the better ones be higher, they just have a brilliant amount of adaptability beyond their gun and angling
Yeah. I just find it an odd choice is all, as neither the Tigris or the Heavy No.6 have smoke grenades, although the Tigris has the 30mm add on tracks, the Tiger OST has them, and logs that can apparently eat 122mm guns for breakfast. (T29 tanks hurt tho)
T32 is already 7.3
T32E1 is already at 7.7
IS4 staying where it is, is fine.
Maus is fine as is.
Somua… should be 7.7, fighting 9.0s would be crazy, let alone 8.7s
As myself and someone else mentioned, if they raised top tier to say… 12.7, and adjusted the more cluttered and OP, or UP tanks it would probably make a lot more people happy.
Wood did not provide that much armour at all. It would be enough to stop an earlier 6pdr AP shell, but as soon as you get to ballistic cap-capped shells, it is worthless for protection. Smoke grenades I don’t think are that big of a loss either tbh but I tend to use them more as an offensive tool to confuse an disorientate an enemy close by
