I’m not sure where else to get help. I had 8 nuclear strikes recorded in War Thunder, and on Tuesday I completed 2 more, but my profile still shows 8 instead of 10.
I already reported this problem, but the answer I received was: “Unfortunately we can’t add missed achievements.” However, these were not missed achievements — I have proof that the strikes were completed. I submitted a second report with evidence, but the response was the same.
Is there any way to verify or fix this issue?
Proof / Evidence:
Session IDs for the last two battles: 5d61549001fc4fa, 5d60fa7001f9c90
Unfortunately they are achievements. The in game counter uses the achievement you get at the end of the battle if you successfully drop a nuclear bomb and end the match that way. This is how it keeps a running counter.
So the answer you received in the report is im afraid correct, as these cannot be retrospectively added.
This issue affected many players, and today there was a small update stating that it has been fixed. I was hoping my case would also be resolved automatically, so I waited about 3 days before reporting it instead of doing so immediately.
Because of that delay, I don’t have additional evidence like in‑game screenshots. The only evidence I have is the replay available on the War Thunder website (attached above). At the time, I believed this was server-side and that the nuclear strike was counted, but the profile statistic simply wasn’t updated. I remember that I received the achievement at the end of the battle, and I even got an extra 15,000 Silver Lions, but because the Atomic Ace showcase was broken, it didn’t update correctly.
I understand if nothing can be done, but I wanted to clarify why I waited and why my evidence is limited.
In conclusion, the issue was not about me failing to get the achievement at the end of the battle, but rather a bug in the in-game achievements system.
Oh, i think you’ve missunderstood then, the fix just solves the bug for future matches, it doesn’t fix the counting issue retroactively (i don’t think that is even possible to do).
