No they are too rare and hard to aim.Premiums and prizes.Modern artillery is spam and can hit from distance.
It is possible that the Artillery spam has died a bit but there is much dissatisfaction where WW2 overlaps with Post War.
I don’t see how its a situation that can be reversed though.The modern artillery is here to stay and the WW2 game dead. If that causes some players to walk away then so be it.
Why not put in WW2 artillery? The m109 was just lazy

One was literally given out for free, the other is still available as premium.
The M109A1 (6.3) has an aced reload speed of 13.3 seconds. The Brummbar, 17.2 seconds (better armor). Sturmtiger? 40 seconds (with far more armor, a far bigger round that can get multikills on even relatively well-armored vehicles, and a rangefinder that makes it far easier to aim).
WW2 has always overlapped with postwar.
It would be at a much lower battle rating due to being seen as direct fire, not to mention less practicality, just like the early cold-war howitzers seen ingame. Do you really want to see things like the M12, M40, M43 at even lower BRs?

I fail to see how this is a problem. One is available at any time to buy with GE, for a reasonable price (especially during sales) and the other was free during an event many participated in.
If you don’t want to use them for Germany, you can always use the M109s Germany bought from the US :>

6.0-6.3 depends on version, can one shot a panther from the side from any angle so is comically easy, almost every other tank at the BR is a free kill too. its insane

As somebody who mains Britain well before South Africa you have no idea what you are talking about. Most britian mains I know felt that south africa was a welcome addition even if they want brit light tanks more.

That’s your opinion ,seems like you rarely play any way with that many games under your belt.There is a a lot of hate for those things in the UK tree when they could be UK vehicles and not SA. Do you even read this forum?

It can barely tackle centurion mk10&5/1 upper plates or the AVRE and it will see them in most matches. its in an unfortunate spot, but if you have a braincell you know to hit turret roof and it’s a one shot
Ngl your stat card looks like either a kinda new wallet warrior or someone that has played for a long time, but hardly ever plays so I don’t think you can speak for a lot of us Brit Mains. SA doesn’t really add anything good, the 6pdr SARC is really punchy for 3.3, the G6 is a low tier VIDAR and nothing else is worth the time. We wouldve been just fine with a Rhodesian AML90, Fox and Rooikat, the rest are completely forgettable and arent worth the slot in a lineup
we wanted actual light tanks not scout cars with the wrong tag, we want CVRTs, Covenanter and AJAX.

I would take the Saladin over the Concept 3 any day ,the 76mm L5A1 was a good gun.
There is plenty that we should have had over the SA rubbish.

The saladin would actually be able to move and have a quality gun for the BR its placed at. Im for SA being a British subnation in the UK tree but it being the subtree has probably screwed us long term, it means the likelihood of getting a CANZUK sub tree is near zero, Canadian kit will be split up more and the Aussies may see nothing more at all

I have no issue sharing with the commonwealth. I love the Aussie Premium at 5.7
I just would like priority given to UK kit.
Would it be any great loss to lose everything SA from the UK tree? Maybe the AA gun at 4.3 that’s about it.There is no cover for huge armoured or rather unarmoured cars anymore since they hacked all the bushes away.
