The German heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen was named after one of the most outstanding commanders of the 18th century, Eugene of Savoy. Prinz Eugen was launched on August 22nd, 1938 and actively took part in operations during the Second World War. One of its most famous moments was during Operation Cerberus, also known as the Channel Dash, where Prinz Eugen, Scharnhorst and Gneisenau sailed from western France through the English Channel all the way to Germany. Prinz Eugen was one of the few large German ships that remained intact until the end of the war.

If the Naval Arcade aiming wasn’t changed I would be buying this in a heart beat. Gaijin could at least give us the option to use the old style Naval Arcade aiming and/or Naval Realistic aiming like we used to be able to do.
Still highly disappointing that no one from the company has responded to the literal thousands of messages about the aiming issues.
Until then, I will not be spending any money on Naval.
Sadly since the naval BR changes this aweosme ship jus gets sucked into constant uptiers where it’s nothing but easy food for Battleships and permanent suffering
Idk, but the RU Zheleznyakov is also Rank 4 and 6.0 BR. Same with UK’s HMS Belfast and Italy’s RN Pola. Even the US HSS Helena is Rank 4 and at a higher BR @ 6.3.
Is it worth buying the branch for grinding? 25 coins isn’t much compared to Gneisenau. I want it both for grinding and for gameplay, in RB mode and confrontation.
Be careful, since the big naval changes it permanently has to fight BBs and very advanced cruisers from years ahead. Was once a great ship, but it always depends what you fight. Nowadays its BR spot means permanent uptiers and endless suffering.
But its for sure one of the best looking ships, so nice for collectors.
