Perhaps because the T58 actually features an electrically powered hoist inside the stowage ring that automatically assists in lifting ammo up into the magazine, rather than requiring manual human effort?
People need to realize that the T58 was the quintessential most advanced and powerful American heavy tank the U.S. had probably ever made and attempted in the 1950s.
Just in case the Soviet IS heavy series they made turned out to be a lot more stronger than they originally anticipated.
i hope they wont uptier it and instead model the autoloader as a breakable module and decrease the reload speed
tbh 2.8 is just way too much, 5 seconds would be much better for balance
If they do that to the T58 they have to do it to all the French autoloaders too though. Especially given people are paying real money for the T58 and it would be a major changeup battle wise for the vehicle.
Problem is we don’t know how loader work on samua sm - or maybe you have magic links for that? It have too revolver, but i dont know about electric system (AMX 50B have railing system)

Only if gaijin doesnt nerf the post pen effects of the ammunition of course. I still have sad memories of gaijin doing that on other premiums I have bought like the Harrier GR1 and Sea Vixen going years with missiles that simply were bugged out.
If the HESH amd HEAT remain consistent it would likely do fine still.

Like with AVRE BESH getting clapped years ago too. Its still decent but has some bull moments.
So if they “nerf” the reload to 5 seconds, its similar reload to the Vickers MBT which has better mobility and a stab, so if the ammo gets nerfed to be similar or worse, well… it might not do so good at a 5-6 sec reload.
though nerfing the reload is iffy given they sold it on the prospect of that reload.
I’d doubt the ammo will get nerfed, and nothing will ever be as bad as the Aubl, even without over pressure the damage it does is quite good.
I also hate the YouTubers that are saying “oh this is a good addition to 8.3 USA”

The Bradley should’ve been moved up to 8.7 along with the bmp-2
The xm-246, Gepard, type 87, etc, should’ve gone to 8.7.
And the T-58 with at minimum a 5.0 sec load time, should be 8.7
I can’t even begin to imagine how much money Gaijin has made off the T-58. the T-58 is also the highest br premium heavy tank in the game
Aubl was more a comparison of “what could happen when gaijin goes over the top to punish a vehicle for being good” as first days it was a godly little car.
I just wouldnt be surprised if gaijin “corrected” its heat and hesh as rounds only it uses and nerfs them down hard.
