detailed insides but no autoloader module

Because thats not the autoloader? (or not the main 1 anyway, apparently theres an autoloader that loads the autoloader irl but not modelled ingame)

It has the same autoloading system as the french do of behind the turret system, all of them follow the same ruleset model wise.

T58 has been performing well from the games I’ve seen it in. Have had to battle quite a few that have been played very aggressively.

Well, it’s not completely useless. I was jumping to conclusions. I played the T58 for a while. It’s a pretty fun tank, I really liked it. Especially the gunshot sound – it’s a real treat. They still need to reduce the reload time, because 2.6 seconds is definitely too fast. I’m still pushing for 5.3-6 seconds, maybe. Then they’ll have to lower its BR. But honestly, the gun stabilization on the move, or even at a slight movement, is just terrible. Most of my deaths were due to careless forward movement or changing position. Otherwise, it’s not a perfect tank. Destroying a horde of guys advancing on you with a single reload is great, but I’ve only seen that once every few battles.

As I expressed before, this vehicle is very busted. Survivability is insane, it has GREAT acceleration, the reload is absolutely busted, the HEAT is great. Etc.

Full uptier us T58s we’re murdering:

Full downtiers exist, literally was my 2nd game:

It actually does look like a 8.7 material, all the matches that had them they all have kills and scored pretty high too. Rarely see T-10M does something like this lol

T-10M is 8.0 material at best ngl.

T-58 with a reload nerf is a good 8.7, but with its current reload, I hardly see why it cannot be 9.0

Keep in mind I bought it too

T-10M 8.0? xD No. Obj 140 8.3? Yes. (as it was before)
T-58, lets wait for the monthly report, it has always been the case that new stuff performes best at the start, simply because people dont know how to fight it yet.
And as i prognost, it can be good in situations like close quarter fights, but will relativly stink on more open situations.

Dude I was bouncing APFSDS… in this heavy tank…

There’s no excuse. Given I have yet to see anyone do bad in it, it should already be 8.7

But it’s a USA tank, so give it 2 years and it will see 8.7

Also it has a range finger. The only time it’s bad at range is when an LRF system targets you. And you arent likely to see those.

Like i saied, i wouldnt judge to quick.

But i also cant say much, as in the 3 matches i played with or against them they did average and all of them also didnt onespawned so… hard to say.

I don’t want yet another US auto loading tank reload time go up.

This will have to be done. Because right now, in the right hands, it does some pretty nasty things. Its 2.6-second reload, as I’ve said many times and I think I’m not alone, is incredibly fast compared to even the French “drums.” Once they get it down to 5 or 6 seconds, it’ll quickly become a regular, balanced machine. Again, it doesn’t even need a combat rating boost. It just needs to increase its reload speed to 5-6 seconds per shot.

yesterday I played Russia at BR 9.0 to finish researching the 2S25, since they slipped the BMD in between, and I ended up running into this new tank a lot. I won’t comment on the reload time because I don’t have the info, but honestly it’s not 8.3 material—it should be raised to at least 9.0. For what it’s worth, I even made a test guide and it’s just ridiculous at its current BR.

I dont think Gaijin will ever put strong premium at 9.0. 8.7 might be as high as it can go (Somua SM is also good example). Have in mind that t58 has non FS heat shell as its best round (at least I found it to more usefull then hesh and aphe), and already at 8.3 - 9.3 it faces ERA and composite armor that can make your 6 shot autoloader empty real quick and reloading takes a while. Also not to mention that it is a slow, bulky, non stabilised heavy tank with optical rangefinder and if it gets moved to 9.0 it would get curbstomped by literarly anything (and I’m not even gonna mention uptiers up to 10.0)

His maximum is exactly 8.3. The only thing he needs to change is his cooldown. You’ll understand everything once you play with him, if he gets a higher cooldown.

I played USSR 9.0 to grind out new BMD4, and also ran into T58 a lot. Its turret was surprisingly survivable to even T-62M1s APFSDS. Object279 eats them for the most part, but if you don’t kill the T58 in the initial shot, it will kill you due to that HEATFS, HESH (to cupola) spam. I reckon about 10 of my deaths on patch day were from T58, lol.

i think it has been deliberately undermodelled, the autoloader MUST be a module in the damage model

btw you can easily disable the t58 if you shoot just under the gun - aphe will OHK if you shoot there, darts will cripple it

but yeah the tank is awfully tanky
i wonder why))) surely it has nothing to do with its special status)))

nothing to see here tovarisch)))

Onyl because not many people paly france 8.3 or 8.7. afaik all of those have laser rangefinders.

You might also see tanks with era from 8.0 to 9.3 making heat useless, but I guess you can spam heat in one spot until the tank dies…
