Hey. These are not offical polls. They are not used to decide how or where a vehicle is deployed. In most cases where people do include them in suggestions, the results always naturally lean towards something being a researchable vehicle over any other option. So sadly they cannot all be expected to come in that way.
Anyone can create a suggestions topic. That includes all of our volunteer staff. In this instance, this screenshot is from a suggestion topic regarding the T58 created by one of our moderation team, who included this poll in their suggestion (as most people do).
It however is not an offical poll in any capacity.

While it is true that majority of suggestion votes end up leaning in favor of tech tree by default , I still think T58 is an unfortunate choice of premium vehicle.
Unique tanks shouldn’t be premium. Premiums should be reskins or light modifications of things you already can get in the tech tree. Examples of this are: M1 KVT, Wolfpack, Type 74 Red Star, Leopard 2 (PzBtl 123) etc.
I think this is one of the reasons why the 3-pack premiums was so well received. They offer premium bonuses without locking unique things away behind a paywall. There should be some oscillating turret tanks in the tech tree, and not just premium.
It being a unique, one of a kind, rare prototype is even stronger of a reason why you should be able to research it. Why else do you research a US technology tree if not for US technology?
