The camo net isn’t even unfolded
That’s just sad

Boring copy again
yea, here you see that that is not a “LES”
“LES”, translated to English is literally just “Lesson” or “Training” should not have stickers. As you can see with this Leo pic you showed, that’s not a LES since it doesn’t show the sticker and it has the cupola.
Here are some other Dutch “LES” vehicles and all of them have their turrets removed for training purpose (iirc LES is only for driver training, hence they don’t have a turret)
The actual 2A4 LES:
A Dutch Boxer LES:
And a Dutch CV90 LES:
In short:
The 2A4 NL LES isn’t real as how Gaijin portrays it, so they should change the name to what the picture you provided shows it actually is
The ones I provide are also from the OTCo school. They indeed did not carry the LES decal when not using the driver cabin in that case, but the decal seen on the starboard modflap of the Leopard 2 LES vehicle you showed here, unless on older ones:
Like what? Not being a Leopard 2 premium? Would be incredible.
Hopefully we get a Greek Leopard 2 for USA, a captured Leopard 2 for USSR, Canadian Leopard 2 for Britain, Indonesian Leopard 2 for China, Thai Leopard 2 for Japan.
So many options that I couldn’t think more.
Wow another leopard in my supposed leopard free nation, i’m really really so excited ! /s Good i don’t have to buy this …
I don’t know how Gaijin has managed to brainwash you but you can quite literally have both a unique premium vehicle and and TT vehicle at once, look at the F-14A IRIAF for example (a perfectly executed event vehicle).
You don’t need to chose between bad and good, this is just an agenda Gaijin has been pushing forward as a poor excuse to introduce C&P.
Oh another Leopard 2 copypaste for a nation who never operated it and has its own MBT line.
Nah it’s inflation do not worry, you will need to upgrade for only a 45 more $ for getting the full camo ! /s
Now France has the same amount of Leopard 2s as they have Leclers.
Seems reasonable.
yea, it has the same decal on the right mudflap. But Gaijin still can’t call it “LES” since only the drivertraining tanks keep that decal and don’t carry their turret.
So if it doesn’t carry the “LES” badge (which is only used for drivertraining) and has a turret, then it isn’t a “LES”.
They could better call this the “Leopard 2A4NL RTS” then
Does it get the DM33 as all Leopard 2A4 should have?
Quite surprised that there’s going to be a 43 MECHBRIG decal especially /9when the tank is french and not german), when in 2016, 17th of March the 43rd MECHBRIG has become a part of the 1st Panzer Division. Die 1. Panzerdivision Bundeswehr and the 414 Tank batallion is now subordinate to the 43rd MECHBRIG
Therefore my question arises is the decal going to be universal, or limited to french usage like the Dutch airforce insignia?
Due to the close relations with germany and the netherlands 43rd Mechbrig and 414 Pantserbatallion I’d be a tad bit disappointed if it wasn’t.
That was indeed in 2016, when they didn’t use 2A4NL anymore. It’s also only seen on Dutch vehicles (all of which are in the French TT).
Yet the 43rd mechbrig did exist, hence the question and disappointment it isn’t really added to germany, before that they were also in pretty close relation sometimes having exercises together already from what I recall atleast
If I saw that correctly, then NL sold pretty much all Leopard 2s by 2011 except 16 Leo 2A6(?).
The 43rd was integrated into the 1. PzDiv in 2016, so they are “historically accurate”
Personally I’d rather have a separate Benelux (considering the numerous military ties between Belgium and the Netherlands) situation, but it would indeed be great should we be able to use the 43rd decal also on german vehicles, like the PzH2000.
Recently, we bought new 2A8s I believe, I still believe the dutch leo’s should’ve been added to germany personally but I doubt it’s going to change unfortunately.
