Why not use the russian operated Albatross and leave the Czech so the Czech one can be added separately?

If there is no suitable tech tree for a vehicle, don’t add a vehicle until suitable tree is created. Simple as that.
France has its own tree, for one. Czechoslovakia does not. Same for China. I don’t remember anything about Korean vehicles in WT right now, so I will abstain from commenting on them.
Again, then dont add them.
Simple as.

I genuinely think most subtrees miss the full point baring Thailand (only South Africa and Finland get it half right and Benelux a quarter).
India should’ve been with Israel
Hungary, Czechoslovakia and Poland should’ve been a V4 tree
Spain should’ve been a smaller subtree to Italy while Romania takes the main subtree
Canada and Australia should’ve either together as either a independent tree or slotted within the UK, not breadcrumbs of them being thrown across different trees
Instead of seeing the mods and unique stuff, a good chunk of sub nation content is copy paste slop which ends up weakning both host and sub trees
If I missed a subtree or small operating country that has more than one vehicle, please mention it

as i mentioned in one of our previous convos, defo licensing issues. once you got license for leopard 2A4, its easier to add as much of them to the game as you can, because its cheaper since you dont have to license entirely new design.
(little bit of offtopic rant but not really, does anyone remember the WWII strategy game RUSE made by Ubisoft somewhere around 2011? it had unique gameplay aspect of employing various ruses onto the battlefield, such as radio silence, camouflage nets, decoy units etc. It was pulled from steam store in 2015 precisely because its licenses for the military vehicles expired and ubisoft didnt renew them).
see i dont have issues when vehicle from operator country that will probably not have its own TT or subtree in foreseeable future in its development (hopefully as is the case with Czechoslovakia currently) gets added to the TT that either exported vehicle to them or they had part in its development (not the case with czechoslovakia).
Columbian Kfir? well its kfir afterall, makes sense for it to go to israel.
Al Khalid? well its a chinese tank afterall, makes sense for it to go to china.
then of course we get to canada, australia, even spain which are all over the place.
(fun fact, theres british Grant in the US TT that was added before UK was a thing IIRC, also the chinese LVT which predates the chinese TT by some two or three years. theres also chinese ZTQ in russia which was addded around the same time. or Merkavas in the US TT, last one predating the introduction of israel TT by some two years).
anyway back to the topic at hand. literally any other soviet or russian plane couldve been added. the version of albatros exported to russia with russian insignias couldve been added, since they used L-39s.

Tbh, I would be fine waiting longer for trees if it ment more vehicles can be licensed.
Was tempted to make a thread in the dev server section akin to the OSA and strela the UK players asked for but thought it might be a bit much for me to ask given I have done a lot of “gib copy paste” for the last few patches which gaijin allowed and would be greedy xD
I also dont know enough about the different models to really nudge 1. Though I do suggest others might want to make 1, it would let gaijin know theres interest.
The Thailand L-39 is the exact same as the Czech, the ZA, not entirely sure about the Romanian but I remember someone saying it was also the ZA, but I could be misremembering that

How are these example remotely comparable?
Czech Republic has bought and used (still actively using) military tech from the USSR and even sold the L-39s to russia. So both parties have an military connection.
S.Korea and Japan have never sold arms to each other and never been in an alliance, so no military connection between the 2 parties.
