A friend of mine is on Xbox, and he has purchased some pre order packs in the past, and he got the extra things.
I believe they stay until 2 weeks after release, for console players.

It’s OK I got these (Jean Bart decal wasn’t show at purchase and be added in special decal instead of France/Naval)
But there is something wrong…
In my opinion, sinking thousand of tons of steel and knocking out thousand of crew should score a lot more than coastal boat can do… We do not really can appreciate the scale of firepower…
If you look closely, Blue water battle was 2 time longer (24min VS 12min) and I got 3 time more hits but damages are way too low… Even if each salvo was bringing hell on earth, the coastal single turret canon score far more “naval damage” and it’s not OK in my opinion.
Maybe made a Naval mode vs IA (destroyer, planes, cruisers, coastal artillery…) to be able to have some fun and power feeling…
Here are 5 new bug reports regarding the Jean Bart. Thanks to everyone who will support these reports.

How many bugs/mising things are currently plagueging French battleships? I bought Jean Bart cause I wanted to grind French Navy cause I find their ships nice easthetically and honestly unique, but so far my experience has been miserable especially with the guns and of course the Mighty Soyuz that still terorizes top naval. On your account and bugs I saw alot of “accepted”, but not outright “fixed”
In terms of bugs that actually affect the gameplay of the French battleships, I’d say the Jean Bart is the least affected, since almost all of the bugs I reported on the Richelieu and Clemenceau were fixed on the Jean Bart during its development. As for the Clemenceau and the Richelieu, there are still 14 bugs related to their armor or the positioning/size of internal modules (ammunition magazines and so on…). The remaining 11 bugs relate solely to major errors in the visuals of the 3D models. Now, as for gun effectiveness, the Jean Bart is surely the only battleship that should receive an improvement in gun accuracy.
But question is will gaijin give it better accuracy? also… what about sections and health they have?
I hope so, because it would be a disgrace if they didn’t improve it, but knowing them, they’d be capable of refusing with an argument that makes no sense. As for the compartments and their health points, since this is an unrealistic mechanic (which, I think is really poorly implemented, imo), there isn’t really any way to file bug reports about it.
how well versed are in naval? cause recently I encountered that shells hitting water instead of hitting bellow waterline just despawn or ghost shell? And Im wondering if its normal or just that game doesnt have underwaterline hits modeled.
I haven’t noticed any recent changes in this regard, but yes, a few years ago shells could very easily cause major damage by passing below the waterline, and at some point they made a change. Since then, I also get the impression that no shells are passing through the water anymore. I think they removed or drastically reduced this physics behavior because it made battleships too fragile. I think that change was really stupid, especially now that they’ve added the compartment mechanics specifically to make battleships more vulnerable. They removed a realistic mechanic that could have been adjusted to serve the same purpose as their unrealistic and very poorly implemented compartment mechanics.
What do you guys think the French ship that was gonna be a top tier, but got delayed? If it was gonna be a battleship. Then Gascogne? Or if they wanna get wacky, Alsace class?
Not possible; Gascogne was never laid down.
So was Alsace, and I don’t see Normandie being 8.7. Unless France 8.7 won’t be a battleship which I also doubt. But who knows I’m just trying to guess what this mystery ship could be. If its a battleship is either the never built, Richeliu class or the never built Alsace. Me personally, I’m leaning more too Alsace then Gascogne Now, if there’s a third contender that this mystery ship could be. I’ll be interested to know.
They’ve hinted at a possible step into Cold War tech, so we’ll see. We don’t have enough info yet.
34cm guns (assuming same class as Béarn) at 8.7 sounds absolutely terrible. Doubly so since it’s a 1910s dreadnought which means it’d be outright inferior to many 7.7s.
I also dont like the compartment mechanic especially due to how fragile it makes ships, especially the fact Seccondary HEs from AIs just cause so much damage, not to mention that one salvo from soyuz just kills compartments Instantly, while its compartments dont seem to be so vulnerable.
On topic of Gascogne, why did they not add that instead of Jean Bart, Jean bart could have gotten everything she had, Improved accuracy, reload etc. I think Gascogne could have been better premium choice.
Because it wasn’t laid down, nor were any parts built for it
The obvious choice was to make Clemenceau the premium and Jean Bart the ultimate variant. It just wasn’t the lucrative one.
For what it’s worth, I second this hypothesis by the fellow player:
Oh wow first time I’m hearing about that. I’ll be interesting to see how. This Suffren Frigate performs at top-tier. We’ll see what happens in September. Thank you for this information.
