Do you mean only bluewater? Given the Glaive?

Glaive is an event vehicle: [Event] Get Glaive in the Marine Gendarme Event! - News - War Thunder

Oh, then does this have the wrong title then?

Forgot it was an event and just read the title.

Thats the blog for the vehicle. The event itself is here: [Event] Get Glaive in the Marine Gendarme Event!

Yep, but other event vehicles dont have “development” in the title.

North Carolina - Premium

Unpopular opinion, but either the USS Washington or NC herself should be a premium. I would prefer a late war NC in 1944/45 config for premium, but the Washington in 1942 config would likely be more palatable.

I know all 13 naval players are coming with their pitchforks, but idc. I only started playing because your changes to arcade (the ones they are still bitching about) made it possible for me to actually enjoy it like I used to enjoy WoWS back when it was a game, not an esport.

Thanks.

is there any plan on premium for italy on the plane side this update?
thanks for the answer

the US already has a Rank VI Premium though, the only naval nations that don’t are Italy and France. And we’re on the discussion forum for the announcement of France’s rank VI premium.

They don’t need another one that’s just flatout Better. Maybe as a squadron or event vehicle, I guess, but the main deficit I can see in the US tree is it doesn’t get a second Iowa-class like how Japan and Italy and France all get two of their Top Tiers (then again, maybe the Iowa really is just so good it wouldn’t be balanced to have two)

But they will, as Iowa class is too famous, and there are not much battleship left for Gaijin, and later Iowa class and earlier Iowa class has little difference in armor

Yeah, but at least Iowa is playable unlike the Yamato and Musashi, would you rather 1 decent ship or 2 dog water floating bombs?

I mean i get the whole crew thing, but isn’t soyuz one of the battleships with the least crew at top tier with around ~1650 ?
It doesn’t exactly make it a bad top tier ship (understatement of the year, i know)

Point is if Jean Bart has less crew but better reload and better secondaries, i don’t know if calling it worse than Richelieu or Clemenceau (which also happens to have less crew) is justified

If it is 1200-ish following Suez Crisis, then it would be problem

Or the inverse, Yamato has 3332 crew and dies in a single hit because it just explodes and vaporizes them all.

Which is historically accurate.

Amount of crew doesn’t make a ship good or bad. It’s how resistant they are to being erased.

And paper compartments that become black in 2 shells cause outside hull is not armored.

the compartment thing really needs to be toned down tbh

When i encounter Yamato, all i see is 3 floating bombs, 1 under each turret

And those 45° plates really don’t do the poor thing any service. Its armor was supposed to be good at long range but it’s just not the meta in game.

Pulled up to Yamato in Richelieu at 1.5 km, fired my shells 1 by 1 aft to stern. The guy just spawned, he was under the waves in 1’ 30"

Who is calling her worse? Smin’s point is that she will be on the same BR, not higher than her sisterships.

That makes sense, but in this case it is by definition a top tier premium, at least as far as the french tree is concerned, and probably not the worst of the 3 sisterships either.

IMO (i of course can’t speak for others, but i don’t think i’m the only one thinking it) Clemenceau <=> Jean Bart would have been perfect. It would still have been a competitive / top tier premium, but at least not the historical ship and latest upgrade of the Richelieu class
