Developer comment: The arrival of the Giulio Cesare (already present in the game as the Novorossiysk in the USSR tech tree) marks a shift in our approach to adding new ships. Previously, our policy was to include each ship in only one specific configuration; if a vessel had undergone multiple refits, only one version would make it into the game. Since this rule sometimes prevented the inclusion of highly interesting configurations, we decided to revise our approach. Until now, Italy was the only nation in the game without a top-tier premium ship, and the Giulio Cesare, in its original Italian configuration, is the perfect fit for this role.

Great change to the rules. Dont like that this ship is a premium though.

As an Italian naval player i found the Duilio and conte di Cavour really good ships.

Well protected ammo

I’ve heard this before 😔 I’m sure a fire in the turret will blow it in 5 seconds.
Speaking of… is there any word on the Sevastopol? It seems like if your crew doesn’t extinguish a barbette fire in literally 3 seconds you blow up.

Oh I understand. Revenge class had to be in the tech tree a long time ago, when the top tier was 7.0.
They spend so many updates filling up the British tree with ww1 battleships instead of adding Warspite (earlier) and also any Revenge class ship.

I won’t be surprised if the first Revenge class ship in British tt will be an event vehicle.

Stona is going to be correct on this one Late Italian BB in by opinion are good at not exploding the much. I find USA premium BB ships to at time be the worse at cook offs as its a hit the front magazine hit the back collect the win in under a minute.

Maybe, but I’ve been having great success ammo racking Italian BBs by shooting the barbettes. Not nearly as easily as the Sevastopol though. Literally I can ammo rack that ship with secondary cannon fire. If it catches on fire it’s a guaranteed kill

so when can we get the Belgian flagged Lorelei in the French tree

And Royal Sovereign in the British tree

Now I would like the battleship Almirante Latorre in British service as HMS Canada, and the later modernized Chilean variant, please hehe.

Its not bad you got 8 guns, lots of Anti-Air and the planes can be used to cap points.
