I have to say, this feels like a missed opportunity. I was really hoping we would get a Littorio-class battleship instead of this. The Littorio premium would have been a much more interesting and fitting addition, especially given its historical significance and beautiful design.
Is there still any chance this could be reconsidered in favour of a Littorio-class battleship? I think it would be a much more exciting addition for the Italy and something a lot of players would be interested in buying.
Please, please gaijin, add the most historically important BB of the Italian navy behind a 80$ paywall, dont make it free so everybody cant get it.

Don’t get your knickers in a twist, you can buy these ships during sales and save a lot of money, so I think that would be more valuable than making it an event vehicle. If not, I’d want it added to the tech tree. I have a feeling it might end up as an event vehicle, though, which would be pretty annoying since there wouldn’t be any bonuses.
They could’ve at least made the model look a little prettier. World of Warships made theirs look really cool, with the stripes on the deck and everything. Even an Andrea Doria-class battleship would’ve been cooler.
World of Warships did the Giulio Cesare better than War Thunder. The ship also seems to be missing the iconic green hull, while having the red hull like the war prize Novorossiysk.

One thing I’ve learned about Gaijin is that they love releasing premiums with missing features and ugly models. The F-14D is a good example, with a model that had to be tweaked a tiny bit because it didn’t look good. Then there’s the Challenger DS, which is still missing its additional armour despite all the Challengers that took part in Operation Granby being fitted with it. It’s been years, and it still hasn’t been added.
And now we’ve got this expensive premium battleship with a red hull, a red Soviet-style deck, and the grey parts of the camouflage look eerily similar to the standard Soviet grey battleship colour in game.
At this point, it’s getting a bit ridiculous.

It in the game already no? Didn’t they mean only 1 version of that ships is allowed.
The original statement was ‘If the same ship served two different navies and appears in tech tree for later navy, it could not appear in origin navy’.
So for example; if IJN Hibiki was added to the Russian techtree (as Verniy), she could not appear in the IJN techtree as per previous guidelines.
With the new guidelines, we can - for example - see USS Prinz Eugen.

Well, ball is in your court gaijin, RovSov isnt gonna add herself to the correct tree any time soon, she would if she didnt have to be scrapped after what the soviet navy did to her. You can right some wrongs here.
I doubt they’ll add ships that are unmodified, if the Americans had kept her in service and changed her armorment then yeah I’d want her to be included but they just used her as a testing ship for getting nuked.
You could have made at least the ship’s color historically accurate, but you just copied it and sold it for money… Bravo, I’m waiting for the time to say “this is the end.”
Won’t fix bugs that render naval unplayable, ruin the only good naval mode, also give us $80USD for copy slop premium ship so shitsky soybean has more live targets.
