Pre-order: F/A-18C (Switzerland)

Could’ve made the prem Hornets F/A-18Ds.

I mean the fact that the Swiss F/A-18C early is called “early” in the first place means they can push the definition of early, so I also don’t see why they can’t just mirror the changes onto the US one

theres one thing i dont know why
why do people pre order a digital item thats going to hit sale on live anyways

Titles/Emblems & skins (when skins are announced with it).

As they are removed from the order when the update goes live.

So… do we not get a techtree swiss F/A-18? or am i missing something.

We do , it’s just not the topic of this pre-order announcement.

Ah superb, I was a bit worried this meant no TT variant…

Well, some people just also have a strong emotional connection with some items here, that certainly applies to me and everything Swiss Air Force related. Already the Hunter Mk.58 and P-16 were insta-buys for me, as soon as they became available…

And yes, of course additional goodies like decals and skins play a role too.

Could’ve made a cool squadron vehicle, but since they’re going to evoke a “strong emotional connection” why not get $80 out of it. God, greed really is a kicker.

I guess I’m greedy too, considering I expect my employer to pay me money for the fun I have at work… ;-)

That’s just for a probably quite limited and small number of players. ;-)

Well duh, these guys know there are fanboys that’ll stop at no barrier for a certain vehicle. They’re going to charge as much as they can because they know people will buy it.

Also I don’t understand the greed part. I don’t even think that is considered greed bro. That’s just your job :sob:

It’s their job too: They’re a business that needs to pay employers, infrastructure, taxes, etc.

And the few extreme fanboys like me won’t pay a lot of salaries, the mass will.

And then of course it boils town to the commonly known laws of price and demand. So in the end it’s the business’ decision how to get the money in, and what aspect of their product they want to monetize how, and what prices to ask.

I just find it strange that every time they sell us something people get so upset because of “greed”…

Wall street has prevailed once again. We’re so cooked.

Maybe define your greed because I think it’s reeaaallll different from mine.

Supply and demand does inherently mean greed bro, I’m talking charging $80 for pixels. For pixels that aren’t even full fidelity. Sure the model cost a hella lot of money, but I feel like their profit margin is very fat. Comparing other game’s costs isn’t the best way of comparing but if you’re charging more than DCS, then ion know bro that’s just greed.

Anyways ts my opinion, I respect yours, have a good day/night, love you <3

Maybe if Gaijin fixed literally any of the thousands of problems with the game people would be less annoyed… I have been unable to play ground since “fire birds” due to de-sync after coming to a stop then moving again and I just get abused by support and ignored by the bug reporters. They monetize EVERY aspect of the game but don’t spend a cent on bug fixes or Anti-cheat. If Gaijin put ANY effort into maintaining and fixing the game people would be less annoyed by the cash grabbing.
