the only ammaram F14 that should be added is this one and itll likely be a event vehicle F14A with AIM-120 would likely be 13.0-13.3 depending on how many they give it
The Su39 has to drop weapons to be able to use its R-27s you have to trade weapons for weapons.
And they could add R-27Rs or 27Ts.
It has the radar for it, and it’s missing its: R-77’s R-27s (ERs)
And harrier plus has to lose its weapons to use amraams. But it still sits at 13.0, nowhere near to night attack harrier. And 1 br step above na in grb.
Also from this image, it seems that the only thing it has to sacrifice is r73. For 2 r77 or 2 r27t.
Meanwhile harrier has to pay with its ground weapon hardpoints. Also harrier plus doesnt have arm which covers wide array of bands and is only available to harrier plus (cough cough kh25mpu on su39 but not on su25t)
I would have to disagree yf14A-65 from what we know it only tested if the f14 could carry/launch it I think it’s better just to add f14D(r) w/amraams at 13.3 (till decompression happens) and give the f14D aim7p at 13.0 especially since we already got the F14A IRAF w/f90
if you can find a actual service F14D using amraams let me know otherwise its not happening
it would never be at 13.3 its akin to the F15C it would never be there minimum 13.7
I don’t need to theirs plenty of vehicles in game that use tested/not enter service with armaments, and prototypes shouldn’t be the only ones to be able to have access to them
non as far as i know are AIR TO AIR all are air to ground the only planes that dont have service armarments are for balance reasons for example

I don’t agree with that because there are already several aircraft in the game that aren’t historically accurate because Gaijin has already made exceptions for them. So let’s not pretend War Thunder is some fine dining experience when it comes to historical accuracy.
I believe we should get AIM-120s because that’s what we were all anticipating in the first place.

I’m pretty sure their is prototypes with weapons it only had provisions for like the yak141/ho229
If it were too over perform than I could see it going up if needs to. Akin, specifically what way? F14D has pretty good radar, good rwr, and the FM is good but compared to the f15C Misp 2 it has good amount of CM that are 60 regular and 30 large, a good radar w/HMD and pretty great FM that I do not find comparable to the f14D excluding dogfights even though the f15C has advantages in like with the AOA button. F15C draw backs would be its rwr and it’s somewhat low CM, for the f14D it would be the FM as good as it is it’s not 13.7 material not that it can’t compete just gonna be trying a lot more harder and then theirs the fact it doesn’t have access to a hmd

That would be preferable. In my ideal world the maximum BR would be 15.0, and then the two Su-30s could be moved up to 14.0.
If Su-30 players don’t like the change, the ability to carry eight R-77s instead of six should be considered.

giving it aim 120s puts it in a br range where it would be pointless
giving it a non service load out puts it at a br where it will absolutely get curbed stomped
it is perfectly balanced the way it is right now its a top 5 13.0 aircraft one of the best in the br bracket
with 6 aim120As and 2 AIM-9Ms would be sitting at 13.7 and would be against things like the the 14.7 meta breakers like the SM2 and EFT AESA or RAFALE
at 13.0 worst you face is a 14.0 F15E which is a far more fair match up
I can’t lie, we’ll never agree on this. An F-14 with AIM-120s at 13.3 wouldn’t be nearly as frustrating to face as the Su-30s, so I think you’re really exaggerating its performance here.
Maybe not, but with the Radar the F-14D has, it would be extremely annoying.
