Yes this pissed me off, many times got steal kill because AIM54 didn’t kill them although it have alot of TNT
Fakours are good in short range, but Aim-54C+s are better at range.
Fakours also have the worse radar.
Aim-54cs have a great radar, and you get aim9ms…
Well when you’re firing from like 20-30km away the Fakour’s are better. Once you get to like 40km which is what you get in SIM then the Phoenix will reign better.
The IRAF itself should be like 12.3 but since it has Fakour it’s got weapons the airframe cannot cash.
F90 still has better performance or at least has a better kill ratio than aim54. range really dosent matter when f90 has a better chance at guaranteeing a kill or even aim120,pl12,r77
How does it guarantee a kill? It’s just fast, it has less g overload.

Don’t get me wrong i didn’t have any problem with them when grinding France with MF.1 , which doesn’t have a superb RWR or something , but yes there are damn fast. If you don’t react fast enough and think you have time you are dead.
The problem is people don’t try to find how to play around it… ex. Notch and keep going the direction they picked, they don’t 3d move , they don’t terrain masked (but i multipathed… meanwhile the missile comes from above , doesn’t give a Buck what you do) , no chaffing …
And yes they asspull-buffed the seeker i think. And the IOG.

Also, they can’t do a crap about the BR if they don’t get the premium Su-30s to 13.7.
And they can’t do crap about the IRIAF because people keep die to skillcheck F90s. They could give it Fatter with IRCCM (practically a 9P-5) , still worse than 9M but way better than 9P. Or even R-73 which it tested successfully.
Problem is they do BS anyway…
Even though it has less g overload it’s still fast enough to get kills and has a better kill probability than aim54c also the reason it sits higher than the f14D
Which is BS cause they’ve given plenty production planes weapoks they didn’t use
