It’s really not good as the forum sample is inherently biased and simply far away from representing the average community.
It’s like polling people about their preference for person A, inside an ongoing support rally for that person A.

Not only that.
Number of unique posters there and general lack of likes on the post suggests a very large chunk of those voters were compelled into voting from somewhere else, thus indicating that the poll is very biased and as such, mostly irrelevant.
Polls on this forum are much closer to a referendum/petition with an incredibly small number of participants than they are to actual, unbiased polls.

Just go through voters there and you’ll quickly find straight up burner accounts serving as voting machinery.
That aside, there are also loads of voters that basically have no presence on the forum with very low read times and threads visited, but they all somehow found the poll to cast their vote.
This reeks of people being summoned in here to make it seem as a much bigger issue than it really is.

I mean the F14D should get it’s proper equipment and what not, and I do wish it was a TT variant and the B for example was a premium.
But I do not aggree wtith others saying they speak for the whole community (air) when they quite clearly, don’t.
Especially based off of as you say how random some of these accounts actually are.

I mean, premium vehicles should receive TT versions as well.
My only problem with this was how they tried to portray this “poll” as some be-all-end-all argument when in reality it’s just some trash data that has very little value to it.

Exactly, even if we are in agreement with the sentiment of hte post being they should recieve TT variants, don’t use a half assed poll to try justify it.

I happen to disagree, this forum is filled with people from all around the globe with totally different backgrounds and beliefs.
I also know from independent polling in matches I’ve yet to have anyone respond that they don’t want a tech tree f14d. Which matches the forum poll fairly well.
You could argue to wording is biased in the poll of course.

That poll has over 1k votes but the thread itself has only 55 unique posters, which makes me think loads of votes were acquired either from poaching people by asking them for a “quick favor” or straight up from botted alt accounts.
You tried to claim that guy speaks for the majority of the community just by referring to that “poll”. Plenty of people are indifferent and couldn’t care less if that plane remains as premium only.

That’s just not true, even the mig29n with 6 rvv are at same br is very easy to fly and great at bvr,
