even if it got aim9x it would literally be accurate , since it was introduced in 2003 , navy adapted it in 2004 and the super tomcat f14d retired in 2006
is the 9X in the game with us ?

if it was in service for longer it would be , its radar and computing system was adapted for aim120

I do know its on about top tier premiums specifically but the inclusion of the words “better than their peers” is either trying to make us feel better by saying stuff he has already said or not needed if the case was only for top tier premium which he denied happening anyway
I suppose that remains true at least bc 9L and AIM 54 at likely the same br as the Su-30 with R73 and R77 is not top level combat performance, its instead poor game design

There is another tomcat at that br the is worse in almost everyway but its fox 3
Why is that allowed to be in a terrible balance position and the F-14D not allowed to be in a alright one
Why must the upgrade be locked to the loadouts of the B so it could keep the same BR
What is the point of all its upgrades when Gajin label it as a sidegrade and relegate it with a weaker loadout

I beg of you, PLEASE revise or at least reconsider taking another look at specifically the F-14D’s possible air-to-air armament options before the release of the ‘Heavy Cavalry’ Major Update.
In its current state, as showcased. With the same loadout as the F-14B. Has indirectly made alot of players angry, confused and disappointed about this. It will only continue to worsen if not resolved with an alternative change.
The F-14B’s current battle rating at 13.0 has many already predicting that the F-14D (even with its upgraded APG-71 radar + IRST) will not perform very well in both statistics and overall performance if it’s placed at an even slight higher BR, especially against jets that are equipped with full ARH and IRCCM missiles.
It’s not that the F-14D is a premium only, it’s that the F-14D is a premium without even really being an F-14D ‘Super’ Tomcat.
