be cause sweden doesn’t have a good maint tank for it’s 6.7 lineup, not an MBT but a tank you’d use that is actually somewhat good
even if it didn’t which i doubt it didn’t,the thing still exists, the R2Y2 didn’t even exist.

domestic as in tank that sweden designed and produced that would fit br 6.7 BR range with its capabilities.
i don’t know if sweden has any, i still didn’t do research about any tank that could replace the King tiger.if there was feel free to send it but currently Tiger 2 isn’t just a copy paste, it actually fills the lineups

only time foreign vehicles that did not saw service beyond few units/prototypes should be added to countries is when theres absolutely no other choice. Domestic designs should always be added first and foremost.
i actually said this in the belgian subtree the other day when dude suggested for belgium leopard 1s going to france - theres absolutely no need for that even if it would strenghten france lineup when france has its own design, amx30 that should be prioritized (thats even worse because amx30 and leopard 1 share origins).
sweden is the worst offender in this regard by having T-80U, Mi-28 and apache - all vehicles they trialed and not even accepted into the service. adding king tiger to sweden would only make this issue worse.

So what, most nations lack vehicles in their lineup, Sweden has been spoiled rotten and just copy pasting more vehicles isn’t beneficial to anyone.

if there was anything that could be added to help the swedish 6.7 then go ahead, but personally i don’t think there is.that’s why the King tiger is mostly the only option, i mean it’s not only 6.7 that is lacking 4.0-4.7 is also literally not existant the BR is just full of tank destroyers without a single Medium or heavy tank or even light tanks.
They really need to help Japan with this update. Terrible premium vehicles and ive been waiting for something decent in that nation. Also Germany need a new premium helicopter.
I do not like the idea of adding King Tiger to Sweden. As mentioned use domestic vehicles first.
Also I don’t think it will be ever possible to create BR lineups for every single nation in every possible BR bracket. We have to consider having some BR ranges empty.
Using this logic why should we not add a Tiger 332 - US captured King Tiger in 1944 ? Just give King Tiger to everybody then. What is the point of having different trees when every tree provides the same vehicle and in the end just fights the same vehicle you are driving.
Or even Tiger 131 captured by British in Tunisia for UK tree ?
So I hope they are just rumors and speculations and nothing like King Tiger for Sweden will not happen. Hopefully they will see that it is not a good solution.
If there is not a 6.7 worthy domestic vehicle leave it empty for now. Maybe someday if BRs will shuffle around again we will see something pop up.

If they add a KT to Sweden there really is no reason to play Germany anymore, Panthers, Tigers, Tiger lls, Panzers, BF 109s, FW-190s, Leopards, Leopard 2s all in other trees.

I mean, looking at it this way it’s always just insert X nation mains coping about having tested or captured or, hell forbid, even glanced at another nation’s vehicle and not having it in their tree. (Tho I hope it isn’t just me but it’s sweden mains especially that r constantly on copium, no bad blood btw)
I say the charm of a tech tree is having a new taste at something unique and the fun of grinding through it with the uniqueness not stopping. Hell, at that point just make a world tech tree but what good would that do

I agree with all of it, it’s a damn shame they’ve gotten so unoriginally as of lately. Italy could have gotten the Centauro 2 and at least that would have probably been a better option kinda. I don’t really get why they’re charging people 70 dollars for the exact same tech tree vehicle but with premium mods to it. It’s ridiculous.
Centauro 2 should be in the regular tree for sure, not in the premium section.
