(Just to note I’m the one who was trying to get out of this topic and let it be about the new ships again because it’s the wrong thread for it. Please don’t hate on me for replying to a direct personal attack.)
For the record, I showed you the relative graph two posts up. I told you two good reasons why I didn’t think the absolute numbers from MarApr on Statshark would be very useful one post up, which is why I didn’t pull them or use them in my analysis. I’m not going to go to the site and do that full data pull for the first time now just to possibly get a doggytreat from an internet rando. The whole process of data curing, if you do it right, takes a couple hours and you’re not paying me my company’s Saturday overtime rate (and trust me, it’s high).
And if you disagree with those reasons, you can go to the source yourself. It’s public. No one’s refusing you anything, just telling you you will need to pick your own cherries here. But I’m sure if you dig around there long enough you will find two numbers that will allow you to announce NAB is doing just fine. Can’t wait.

The 38cm gun used on Bismarck and Gneisenau was not the same one you had on Bayern class. It would have ~100mm and more penetration at distance than the current German 28cm and 38cm

“used” is the key word there 38cm guns where never used on Gneisenau so what’s your point? you have taken the most OP ship in the game, up gunned it based on a proposal, based on this the R2Y2 needs to be restored to the game as its a proposed upgrade to an existing platform EXACTLY the same as this abomination.

That’s the problem isn’t it? the best ship in the game… but better, just $80… all the actual Naval players already quite over the ACTUAL version of this thing, now we have a more OP paper version for credit card and yeah I actually played naval (past tense after hearing this):

Or give Warspite her historic ability to just ignore the entire German navy shooting her and just ram the hell out of anything that annoys her (hell she rammed England when they tried to scrap her)… the fact that I haven’t even tried to grind out the grand old lady despite her being basically my spirit animal shows how bad Naval has become, I would have dropped $100 for her just on principle if she was premium.

I guess nobody bothered to draw up a plan proposing that she could possibly use VT rather than just issuing the ammo to ships with guns that could use it… damn POMEs prioritizing fighting a war rather than writing reports for us to reference 80 years later

No, we have sources for Renown and Warspite having HE-VT. Just so far its been denied for I guess “balancing reasons” even though 4 US BBs have them.

Gaijin has explained more times that I can count since 2016 that ships have a different criteria than air and land vehicles when it comes to partially constructed vehicles and why.

While irl one bomb hit and two splashes next to her put the ship out of service for half a year. Even after reprairs in Rosyth she was done and had to be operated with reduced capacity: Maxspeed 15 knots and X turret most likely not operational. The only reason she wasn’t declared total loss was to maintain her as important symbol and to do shore bombardment. Never beeing fleet capable anymore.
Conversion had just started when she was scrapped, and if she wasn’t it would have been completed
It’s not the first one to be like this, Conte di Cavour has a refit that wasn’t finished
and ships like RN Francesco Caraccio, SMS Sachsen, Ersatz Yorck, Izmail, Kronshtadt, Shcherbakov, Amagi were never built, or only laid down
