Hi everyone! Me and others have been comparing the Bofors 40 mm Automatic Gun L/70 ammunition as it appears across different nations in-game, and after plotting the data and checking basic performance specs, I’ve run into several inconsistencies that don’t really line up with how this gun system was standardized in real life. It’s time to point out what looks off and to hopefully gather better information and sources with help from the community.
List of potentially affected vehicles
Ground Vehicles:
(USA) Sgt. York M247, (Italy) Bofors 40/70, (France) AMX-13 DCA 40, (Sweden) Lvkv 42, (Sweden) VEAK 40

Disclaimer: We will not cover the Bofors 40mm L/70 B It is the modernised and more modular Variant meant to be fitted into various Platforms in the late 90s-2000s, Such as the CV-9040 and K21 etc. And neither the L/70 Mark 3 either as its the most modern system and isnt relevant to the vehicles covered in-game at the current time of this post.
Current well Documented Ammunition used across multiple nations.
As Nato had made the 40×365 mm R // Bofors 40 mm Automatic Gun L/70 Standard November 1953. There were a number of standardised rounds.
