Hey, lets remember to keep politics out of discussions here going forward.
A Type 95 Ha-Go for China exists or existed in the files and on the now-defunct Chinese server (not terribly useful in-game but an iconic tank, might be a nice Twitch drop, hint hint)
as well as the likely-not-historically-accurate-for-China BT-5 and T-34-85 (D5-T).
Also, as military aid from Australia, the Nationalist Chinese Army received approximately 400 Universal Carriers of the 3-inch mortar variant.
The BA-10 and BA-27 may have also been used by Chinese forces, but this seems dubious.
ZTZ-99A with new engine
it’s MBT-2000, with Chinese engine. possibly substitute of 6TD which no longer available
Anybody knows anything about this weird looking PTL?
I thought it was the WMA but the turret sides are different
predecessor to the PTL02. Type 87 tank destroyer with 105mm gun
Suggestion soon… (If i can find some more information)
So now that PGZ-09 is going up on BR(again) that leaves China without a radar spaag at 8.0-8.7 so what are you guys expecting to see to replace it in the game? My guess is PGZ-88
What kind of ammo does it fire? Any HE-VTs or just simple ammo for anti-air?
The Type 65 is an obsolete WWII-style manually-operated, optically-sighted anti-aircraft weapon. Operated by a crew of seven men, the recoil-operated 37mm cannons fire the 1.416kg high-explosive (HE) and the 1.455kg high-explosive armour-piercing (HE-AP) rounds with tracer, with a muzzle velocity of 866m/s. The maximum slant range 3,500m. The maximum rage of fire is 160~180 rounds/min. Each cannon is fed by a magazine that holds 5 rounds. A feeding funnel can be fitted for continuous feeding. Later variants of the weapon can be operated by an electrical trigger, enabling multiple guns being fired by a single trigger.
Type 74
The Type 74 is an improved variant of the Type 65 introduced in 1974. The weapon share the same 37mm cannon and ammunitions as the Type 65, but can be operated either manually or remotely by the fire-control unit consisting of an electro-optical director and a target searching radar. This enables the weapon to operate under day/night, all-weather conditions.
I would even have said in 7.7 like the ZSU 37-2, has a lower Br than the PGZ 80 because the PGZ 88 does not have HE VT but the same ammunition as the “phong khong T 34” but with just a new ammunition the HE-AP
VEAK 40 kind of thing.
Yes, that’s exactly the idea, but I don’t know how its radar works.

not type 65 but the navy type 76 and with HE-VT
Is there a difference between the 37mm type 76 and 74 guns? Because the PGZ 88 uses the type 74
I mean why does 76 have HE VT and not 74 ?
type 76 is the new navy gun, no magazine but using belt, fires 800rpm in 2 gun, with bigger ammo providing faster shell speed.
left is type 76’s ammo, right is USSR standard 37mm ammo
thx
