Potential Chinese Ground Force Additions

The PLA naming scheme is kinda out on these ones, but I think Type-70 is sort of like a slight upgrade but I didn’t really research into it, as I understand it is almost the same as 62-I

Potential additions to the 10.3 lineup? So currently the 10.3 lineup has only 2 vehicles(3 with premium ZTZ-96) and well the antelope barely counts as a usable vehicle which leave us with only 2 vehicles any ideas for potential additions and a proper SPAA? For an MBT the ZTZ-99 without era could be added as the famous Type 98 it would be a very basic addition and if they want to limit the access to the DTC-10 round is fine by me the Type 1985 is still very usable in 10.3 and 11.3 uptiers

That will put it along the lines of a T72B, which is a bit excessive RN and it likely has better fire control.

125-II exists.

Pardon but how will it be excessive? You are right though it does has better fire control system and thermals…which 96A also has in 10.3

With the armour. It will likely be able to fend off much more than the 96A, if capable of fending off the DM23 or 3bm42 with UFP, then it is definitely more than 10.3, since T-72 AV with worse basically everything sits there.

New experimental unmanned turret for ZBD-04?

I’ve never seen any credible source that it had a stabiliser. "Type 70” is almost certainly made-up.

Variants, in chronological order:

Type 62: base version, in-game

131-1: Prototype with a new 85mm cannon (APFSDS) and a vertical stabiliser. I imagine this is where the confusion about the “Type 70” with a new 85mm and a stabiliser comes from

Type 62 w/ LRF (no known official name): Type 62s modified (seemingly ad hoc) during the Sino-Vietnamese War with LRFs

Type 62 (late) / ‘Type 62 Gai’ / ‘Type 62-I’ (no known official name): Type 62 with a LRF (different model to above), additional armour around the 12.7mm, slat armour around turret, and sideskirts.

Type 62G (ZTQ62G): Type 62 with entirely new turret and 105mm gun

If I had to guess, this vehicle is one of the earlier Type 62s with the LRF, and was a testbed for smoke grenade launchers. Not sure why they weren’t adopted. It has the older LRF model, not the variant on the Type 62 (late).

This is really biased, but I think we are due for a major China update. There are countless interesting and unique vehicles, along with up-armor kits, APS, and other add-ons for current TT vehicles. Chinese tree could rival the USSR tree if given the chance, although Gaijin would never let it be equal, let alone better than, Soviet tanks.

You’ll get your US/USSR copy-paste as the Pakistan subtree and you’ll like it! You want cool and unique domestic vehicles that are modeled well? What do you think Gaijin is made of? Integrity and a love of their game?!

Any proof over the procurement of Russian airdropped armor?

I have to say multi vehicle SAMs are not what they are cracked up to be. Enjoy your 1 vehicle SAMs.

idk, to me if hq-11 were to be multi vehicle, having double missile count to intercept munitions sounds nicer than current 8+8

another launch vehicle with more back up missiles is always better, at least the AIO vehicle is still there.

Is this new or not?

Seems like a new SAM missile that just fused a PL-12 on top, not sure what it’s compatible with in terms of launch platforms.

and used by Morocco
