Possible VRAM leak causes performance drop and crash

After long term playing for several months and encountering the same problem of random constant critical laggy (which means FPS drop from 144 to less than 10) and game crash, I’ve noticed that the problems were following a sign.
And that is, the constant VRAM consumption increasing during gameplay.
As an example, I’m playing with RTX3070 laptop GPU, which provides 8GB VRAM and is surely enough for high graphic settings in warthunder. Without running warthunder, usually 1GB of my VRAM is consumed by other applications. And after starting up warthunder and loading into hanger, usually 5.5 to 6 GB VRAM consumption under 2K resolution, movie graphic settings and balanced DLSS, without and with ray tracing, respectively. And the corresponding FPS should be stable over 144 or 90.
But as I view different vehicles and load their textures I guess, no matter in hanger or in battle, the VRAM consumption keeps increasing to fully occupying my all VRAM, some of which will be transfered to RAM as shared VRAM.
So what I met was, during the first several battles I may have perfect stable 144 FPS without ray tracing or 70-90 FPS with ray tracing. But as I keep playing, suddenly since a random time point of a random battle, severe performance drop comes.
Sometimes it start with FPS drop in scope view or zoom in view, sometimes the whole game just crash, and sometimes the performance can even be temporaryly recovered with a random graphic settings change.
I tried applying the lowest texture quality and the game would start with a 3GB VRAM consumption, but that will as well increase during playing until filling up my 8GB VRAM.
I believe it’s a problem existing for several months, it should be investigated and solved asap.
