…is this actually an issue anyone runs into? Backups are handed out like candy by the dozens.
Regardless, there are three perfectly acceptable tech tree 6.7s to choose from.
Honest question, can anyone name me a single time (besides the initial introduction of a given tree, obviously) that any nation has ever gotten two top-BR vehicles in the same patch? Ever?
Do any of you actually think the devs would waste all of that “new top-tier!” hype like that? Because that’s what’s actually relevant here, not what “we want”, but what could actually reasonable and realistically happen.
Having unrealistic expectations is a recipe for being miserable and angry all the time.
Gaijin considered Barham and uh… Repulse? as top BR ships regardless of event status or if they’re actually top bracket ships. So as far as their concerned Britain has received as many, if not more, 7.0 ships this year as other nations.
And now Britain is getting what will likely be a very good 7.0 in the tree. Of course, that’s somehow not good enough.
The issue this thread was created for was russia getting a british battleship that Britain do not have represented for Britain in game, that is the only issue, theres nothing else, we just feel like its unfair we’re not allowed to have something that is actually ours represented, personally i dont want to have to grind russia for the only ww2 refit british battleship in the game
Since its clear you guys don’t want Rodney, how about it goes to France instead because while you guys are having a fit over not getting two top bracket ships, France has no competitive top bracket at all.
Rodney isnt ww2 refit, rodney also isnt a ww1 dreadnought refit, stop with the “oh you dont want rodney” all we want is the same ship gaijin is literally giving russia (which they barely even used and it ended its life back in british service) because weve waited 2 years for the r class just for them to give it to russia
Thats not the point, and you seem to not understand, the r class is one of Britain’s absolute main capital ships, yet Russia gets it first, if you thought people would be ok with that because of rodney you are gravely mistaken
No, I do understand. What you don’t understand is that instead of getting an R class you are getting Rodney instead.
Gaijin has chosen to give you a better ship now and will likely give you one of the better Rs or Queen Elizabeths in a patch or two.
AFAIK all the R class are pretty much identical, all five going through modernisation in the 1930s and later during the war, so Arkhangelsk in her 44 refit would be identical to the other 4 ships in the class, so any addition of the R class to the UK tree will be C&P.
Would help if Gaijin implemented Dunkerque’s shells correctly.
Once again, doesn’t matter. It’s just silliness, in a very similar vein to “historical matchmaking” (year-based) type complaints.
Britain is getting Thing A this patch, therefore they can’t expect to also get Thing B. The USSR isn’t getting anything else this patch, so them getting Thing B makes sense.
Are there any downsides to doing this? Sure you can argue Rodney is being added, but in the grand scheme that’s not really an argument against something being added(After all gaijin’s never strayed away from adding 2 top tiers to a country in a patch)
Why does the USSR have to get something this patch? Why not wait till the UK receives theirs? Won’t kill the TT. Hell TTs have often gone without a top tier addition/competitive top tier for many patches.
