Positions of additional Flankers in the USSR tech tree

it should be improved compared to j11A its same one in j11B and its a bit lighter than su33 because of composites they have a liscensed or unlicesned copy of saturn engine " alleging that the J-15 likely possesses a 10% greater thrust-to-weight ratio and 25% lower wing loading than the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet.[32][33]"

With the development of military aircraft during the turn of the century, the PLAAF found its JH-7 fighters becoming increasingly obsolete. In the 1990s, China purchased Sukhoi Su-27 and Sukhoi Su-30MKK air superiority fighters from Russia, including those license-produced in China as the Shenyang J-11A.[5] The J-11A was further developed into the J-11B single seat and BS twin seat variant with indigenous technology. The J-16 is a strike fighter derived from the J-11BS model.[6]

The J-16 is equipped with an active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar[1] and is powered by two Chinese Shenyang WS-10A turbofan engines.[7] Weight is reduced through greater use of composite materials.[1] J-16 units have received radar-absorbent paint to reduce its radar signature,[8] and enhance its suppression of enemy air defenses (SEAD) capability in conjunction with electronic support measures pods.[9]

The cockpit is fitted with helmet-mounted display (HMD) system to improve pilot’s situational awareness.[10]

personally i want both j16 and j15 but if i had to choose definently j15

Mig-29K is still a choice, but yeah Su-33 should have went under the 141.

im kinda happy it didnt as i can get without having to go through russia

Yeah but in what way would the mig29k be different from current ones? In game I mean

Which of the two would be the most ideal for the next update the j11B or J16??

I don’t know much about its tech improvements, but if I’m not mistaken it should derive from the Mig-29M, so it would have more advanced weapons and a slight bigger number of them.

depends if they add su30sm next update id say j16 but if not id say j11B

i still personally prefer J15 as i value dogfight performance
the J11B is just a su27SK from what ive heard

ace combat ahh manuver

14.0 for sure. Upgraded engines, radar, canards, and TVC

I’d like to see the Su-27P, as perhaps an event vehicle or TT in an interceptor line

I believe the Su-35 is more advanced than the Su-37.

Su-35 has Irbis radar and Su-37 has the Bars radar.

im not 100% certain but pretty sure all of them have thrust vectoring

That is wrong.

Yea. If im not wrong its something like this. Su-27m>=Su-35(just name)>Su-37>Su-35s.

Su-37 its older than Su-35s. Su-35s has more modern system that the T-50 prototype Used until it switch to it own system.

only the j10 was tested with tvc and maybe the j20? at least that’s what I found on google, the su30mkk is older than the su30mki which was the first one to get tvc engines and after that the su30mkm got it and finally the su30sm/2 also

j11 is based on su27sk
j15 is based on su33
j16 is based on su30mkk
all of them got the old AL-31 normal engines and later they got the chinese ones, but they still lack tvc (at least thats what i read about it, i could be wrong tho)

First there was Su-35 then they made the Su-37 as a tech demonstrator and then they improved the Su-35 into Su-35S which is more advanced than the Su-37
So in the first place Su-35 was not more advanced than Su-37 but it became afterwards
But the Su-37 actually was designed as a more advanced Su-35, it was built from a development Su-35 airframe. It’s simply less advanced than later Su-35 upgrades because, well, it participated in developing them

The Chinese Su-30 practically does not have a TVC.

Su-30SM isn’t 14.0 material.
