Alot of people dont realize that all the improved hill is gonna do is make is resist 2S38s and autocannons, realistically against other MBTs its just slower which, consering the only kne of two gimmicks in the abrams is speed, its not a good trade

I mean it will give the Abrams more survivability against badly aimed weaker darts like M829, DM33, DM43, 3BM42, 3MB46 and BTA4.
I think the SEPv1 will still be the best 12.7 Abrams no matter what, not that this is a fully bad thing since the SEPv1 is an incredibly potent MBT, but the improved LFP armor would at least give the SEPv3 a reason to exist in game.
That or the M1A2T in my personal opinion
Imo SEP V3 should also get a trophy, or maybe an IRST so it can actually use the time fuze shell and its not just a downgrade from HEATMP

The 12.7 version have 13x gunner sight and gen 2 thermals, they just see much better and aim much easier than the 12.0 version. Only 12.0 Abrams that has equivalent FCS is the M1A1 AIM.

I’m getting SEP V2 for free, so this is a W for me.
I’m going to run out of things to research before I finish spading these vehicles anyway, so the 800,000 total is for me a nothingburger when I have over 1 mil of spading RP to do in those ranks.
Most in those ranks for me are spaded this is going to be a slog
Id rather have the SEPV3 trophy be a modification for the sepv3. If theyre gonna be like that with the v2 thats fine, the v2 gets LWS and ROSY but the v2 trophy gets trophy, both have their advantages, but the v3 has nothing to its name. If trophy was added as a seperate v3 the regular v3 would be buried under 3 other seps that would be infinitely more useful than it would ever be unless they add the hull armor increase
