I am only talking about how giving it R-73 would put it higher in BR, and since 13.0 is too compressed, it will be irrelevant there just like the mig29G because you face constant uptiers and have much better alternatives at that BR.
I don’t want to ruin the 12.7 mig29 before getting some massive BR decompression
It is already ruined it is a light frontline fighter that gaijin turned into a missile bus that only has 2 useable missiles for the br
Meanwhile you have the F14 with more missiles and more fitting missiles for the br

Mig29 is slightly better than the f-14a in my opinion for the AirRB meta.
Keep waiting I guess, I am talking about BR placement because you guys want a mig29 at 12.7 with R-73 to club people with because for the looks of it, screams skill issue. Nothing to do with that.
Do you want the F-16A to move to 12.7 too? I don’t. And that thing suffers horribly at 13.0

TBF Chinese jets also never used R27E or KH29 but they are still there cause there is nothing stopping them from doing so.

The thing stopping the migs is being in service for almost a decade before the 27er and those missiles not being integrated
Also on a side note China seems to have had the 27e

To my knowledge they never bought any R27E, although it is very possible they did tests. Also that would be a J-11A which I am not sure as to why it would use R27ER.
I wouldn’t necessarily have seen being in service before a certain missile being an issue, as long as they can be integrated without modifications that’s fine to be used as a pure balancing tool.

Mig29 wasn’t able to properly use the 27e
It was only integrated on the 29S 9.13S which is a specific upgrade that was made to use both the 27e and r77

I didn’t realize there need to be an upgrade to use R27ER. If there is one and u can prove it then this should be changed.
Other than that if it has R73 + R27 and no HMS then 12.3 is possible as well.

The migs had the HMS from the start because they were specifically designed to use the r73 in conjunction with the HMS
