R-27R is only bested by the R-27ER among all the other SARH missiles. If anything is a sidegrade to the Aim-7P that is wallet locked

Its far from useless, I often get 1-2 kills from my remaining R-60Ms on the mig-29.
They have a similar hit rate to the 9L for me, but are used in different ways/playstyle.
The mig-29 loadout is on par with the m2k s5 (amazing 2x SARH vs amazing 2x IRCCM), but inferior to the yak141 and probably the premium F-18C early. But the F-18 sparrows are very buggy and the jet is too slow to be consistently good like the mirage or the mig29

Oh I fully understand them, it’s just that, they don’t exactly tip the scales that much when your missile has bad range and acceleration to begin with… the R27R is fine but it does not do as much as you think it does.

The time to target is similar to everything within 10km. Most SARHs shot at over that distance are too easy to defeat.
Then the 27R/aim7p has IOG and DL which makes the missile much harder to notch at closer ranges, but considering the amount of bugs related to sparrows and F-18 radar guidance. The R-27R easily takes the cake as the best SARH after the 27ER

agreed, 27r/er only sarh that can’t be out rolled. actually you can’t outroll sidjeel either but that thing has a horrendous proxy delay.
if you launch the sedjil at a range where you are concerened wit hthe proxy delay then you are wasting a missile
5 seconds TTI is absolutely a reasonable time to fire a missile, it’s just horrendous because its proxy is 5 seconds. thats like 6 km headon. thing has the best kinematics in the game but is stuck on a horrendous platform in terms of radar

Premiums have nothing to do with the compression.
F-18C Early is 12.7 because Su-27 is 13.0. The compressing tech tree vehicle is making F-18C a victim which itself causes issues for 12.0.

no ones doing that lolol, f-14 radar is horrendous and i think even the most braindead people would agree with that
IRL it is but ingame its washed cause iran still has F14As in service and we cant let them get manuals on AWG-9 to repair them radars doing the bare minimum
