Used to have a little more fuel and were still pretty bad from what i read. Good for 1 kill and RTB. Now its no kills and no RTB

if you put them at their “historical battle rating” they will absolutely annihilate every single lobby. You want to make entire 6.0-8.0 bracket unplayable for the sake of a single aircraft?

From what i understand some guy worked out that the ki200 engine was too fuel efficient= gajin make it useless for realism.
I read it did actually have 8 mins of fuel IRL. Approx 2 used at takeoff. Was actually designed to spray at bomber and then kamikazi lol. Not sure how much is true.

They could of give it a advanced air spawn to balance. Fixing dud guns would also help. Or just ignored the fuel “issue” all together for balancing/ fun value.

Gripen is a great plane but with fox 2s only is the hardest 13.0 to use… even with its top FM and CMs for days
What your proposing looks very similar but so much worse than the grippy.
12.3 with 6 r60s, no fox1 comparable.to the f16a would maybe work and sounds better to me anyway.
If not the mig29 doesnt have a job until decompression as the flanker is just on another planet and is only .3 above

the Grippen is great even tho it only has IR missiles
and the Mig-29 still has radar missiles the 27er isnt the only radar missile it has access to

Any plane that fights vs TT with this loadout isnt good, simple logic as FM only goes so far vs 16 fox 3 spammers. Do you even play TT? Go watch defn struggle…
a KD of 1 isnt doing bad, it is doing average
meanwhile all 12.7 Mig-29s are having a worse KD, which dosent make sense since it has the r-27er so why isnt it doing better than it?
but hey lets look at the Mig-29G, which got the r-73
oh wait it is doing better than the other migs even tho it is at a higher BR with the only difference being that it has the r-73, which dosent make sense since that missile would be useless acording to you

It does make sense.
Mig 12.7 gets 2 kils max and copes with r60s
Mig with r73s has more options = more kills overall.
The grippy 13.0 i imagine is generally used by good players only (or fools like me that like a challange)
Being very hard to use and fighting mostly the same as 13.7 most will just go 13.7… cant blame them.

Because it loses the little battle presence it has in exchange to become a straight up rat plane.

if you think the mig-29 isnt aleready a rat palne you are wrong
because over 60% of your missiles are onyl useable when you are ratting around
if you think you are losing match presence when you lose the r-27er in exchange for the r-73 you have no clue what you are talking about, because you gain match presence during the middle of the match and also during the ending, while only being unable to be part of the initial BVR shit show
