Fair enough
I’d like to see them added as sub trees, but with the sub tree rework suggestion.
EXACTLY how I think it should be. Makes sense, and tech doesn’t come across each other in battles for no purpose. Each nation stays unique, having it’s own pros&cons, not stealing each other’s.
The rework proposal looks interesting, too. Again, could have been more interesting way to present it than to show Thailand, which has no uniqueness to it so it just steals Gripen for Japanese setup, lol
Problem with every other nation, too. That’s why nation must consist of tech-based vehicles.
Tired of copy paste in the French tree. Could have gotten a whole host of neat French kit.
But lo, “leopards upon ye” was again the only solution they could think of.
clearly different modifications of Leclercs for local and foreign use as well as the EBRC and experimental reconnaissance cars are not as needed as another bunch of Leopards-2, the national heritage of France.
It sucks because a ton of unique ww2/cold war stuff was skipped on ground, air still has a few unique options and nothing was done with naval.
Benelux has huge potential but it seems copy paste is easier.
Tech tree’s for nations that are capable of being on their own. Sub-tree’s for nations who can’t.
Fair, but the suggestion isn’t about the specific subtrees, it’s about the rework affecting all current and future subtrees.
That’s why I tried to show different nations as examples, including existing subtrees like Hungary or BeNeLux, (at the time) just confirmed subtrees like Thailand and likely future subtrees like Pakistan.
Thailand was also just the best fit for this specific edit. They have a pretty simple selection of F-16 modifications and a Gripen that were easy to edit in a way that looked believable based on the existing assets in the game. In hindsight I forgot the F-5TH, but it’s still a near-complete Thai rank VIII that I’m somewhat proud of.
Originally I also tried India, but missing tech tree images for many vehicles made that really difficult.
exactly
What if we put every nation not a that’s currently not a tree or subtree (Finland, Thailand, India, South Africa, Switzerland, Romania, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Hungary) and threw them into one tree without any 1 to 1 copies?, I mean we have the flag.

(For obvious reasons this isn’t ment to be a serious proposal, as cool as it would be)
Man, it’s cool to enter a game and see that almost all nations have the same vehicles as me, USA ¬¬
I seriously don’t know why the TKS and the 7TP aren’t in the game.
The games isn’t simply ready to comprehend the might of the TKS
Israel could actually have a decent amount of original domestic and unique vehicles*; many people, including me, have listed them and told Gaijin, but they won’t listen - they just really got to give us another Magach, and nerf Merkavas to the ground and below it unrealistically.
*Roughly 200 tanks, 100 planes, 30 boats, 25 helicopters and countless drones

I’m always down for new tech trees, even if they start from rank 4 ( if they lack earlier stuff)
Copy paste vehicles are not a problem to me, as long as they’re foldered behind unique stuff. I would, however, like to add that certain vehicles should be straight banned from SIM unless we see changes in brackets that do a blue/red split ( example, if GDR/DDR lineups cone into full existence, same would go if a unified korea tree popped up).
Inb4 they add Yugoslavia as a sub tree even though they’d bring more to the table than Israel and Sweden ( no offense to isreal and swedenland gamers). That’d make my blood boil.
Most of the time, it’s not that there’s nothing on a tech tree to come up with a vehicle that changes skin, but that Gaijin comes up with a vehicle that changes skin. For example, China’s self-produced vehicles after Class III can produce two more technology trees, but they are not given. Changing skin saves money and trouble.
I would say put them in groups, like middle east coalition, latin america, asean, etc
Pereh is just one takn out of over 200 unique designs, my friend.
