Hi folks,
In my opinion we are lacking a lot of late ww2/early coldwar jets that were actually build. In the german TT Gaijin decided to add soviet bombers but there are still 2 jet bombers that could be added to germany.
One of them is well known: the Junkers 287 v1
As you can see it was actually built and tested by the germans it was pretty fast regarding others bombers of the time, a bit faster than the ju288 in-game.
Only the V1 was flown but there were also a V2 and V3 ( the production variant) unfinished at around 80/90%. The fate of the V1 and V2 Is tragic as they were destroyed by the germans to avoid capture by the soviet army.
But, there was a second bomber project on the shelves of junkers, the EF 131. It retains the disign of the the ju287 but it’s longer and it’s using 6 jumos 004 turbine instad of the 6 bmws 003 used on the 287. The 287V3 and the Ef131 were very look a like in term of disign. As the war ended they couldn’t built any prototype but that was before the soviets found out about the project and after the discovery of Ju287 V1 and V2 wrecks in a forest.
The aircraft was to be build by the junkers employee under soviet supervision in 1946 using the wings of the destroyed v2 prototype and the fuselage and cockpit of the unfinished v3. The aircraft first flight occured in 1947.
So my proposition is that if these planes ever come to the game they should both be in the german TT as they were germans disign built by germans althought under soviet supervision. But, because I’ m a good man i didn’t Forget my comrades from the east so let me introduce you the OKB 140.
The soviet faced issues with the EF131 equiped with the jumos engine. They decided to redisign The aircraft with 2 Rolls-Royce Nene supplied by the brittish instead of the six engines configuration. The first flight occured in 1949 before the Whole programm what shut down.

Of course This one would go in the USSR TT as it was build and tested by the soviets.
